Fantastic pictures but...
...this camera is a untiringly-core battery addict! I can use it for "maybe" an hour and the batteries are unconscious! This happens with or without the view screen on. I either constraint to get a ton of rechargeable batteries or a power cord!

The pictures are beautiful! I use the macro methodology for taking pictures of jewelry and they come out crisp and apprehensible. I'm not a shutterbug by any means so it took me a while to figure out why they were outlook out so HUGE.

If the batteries would last longer I'd love this camera!

First-rate value
We a moment ago took this camera on an extended trip abroad and were utterly delighted with it. It made our old camera that we took through for backup look mediocre. Image stabilization is very creditable, exposure in low lighting was impressive, and automatic settings worked without difficulty completely to give us impressive photos. The only surprise was that there's no group for image quality to control the size of the files.

be unveiled weight and very cute looking......great characteristic photos.....however, the battery and memory card swaddle is very flimsy and feels like it could break with simple little force. My older canon's cover worked better and felt more thick duty.

I'm not chuffed - poor pic quality, construction not durable
I bought this camera previously Christmas 2009, and took lots of pictures during the glitzy holidays. I was not thrilled with the results - photos seemed bovine, flat, and uninteresting. Photos taken with my 6-year-old Sony were much advantage! Thought about returning the camera, but couldn't be bothered. Foist I had - camera recently fell off a low end table, and the small plastic clip for the battery/memory card compartment broke off. Now, because cell doesn't close properly, camera doesn't always trade. I have a good excuse to get a different camera - think I'll go to to Sony.

Assiduous Shell Case
I ordered a rosy one, but received a black/gray one in the mail, but didn't have continuously to follow up because I needed one for my daughter the very next day, so we kept the unprincipled one. It's not hard like I thought it would be, it's still bendable (not like a reprimand of steel is inside of case) so it's a semi hard case that protects the camera enough I imagine.

Dimension does matter.
Thing seems well built. Case should be slightly larger to be acclimated to with the Canon 1100 series camera, otherwise lot of stress would be placed on the zipper conclusion.

TOO Tiny
I am uncommonly disappointed with the size of this case. Although it is intended to accommodate the Canon A1100IS,I find the camera just barely squeezes in. I don't recall how you would even fit the SD card in it (which there is a pocket for it on the advantageous). You would think that by looking at the outside of it that the sides unlocked up all the way-nopeeee. There are very tight elastic straps on the sides which enjoin it from opening up all the way thus making a very tight fit. You equally have to cram the wrist strap of the camera in it. The only 2 definite things I can say about it is the color is very pretty and the case is moulded and seems like it would shelter the camera if it was accidently dropped. All in all not worth the money. There are happier cases for the same price if not cheaper. I just bought it and not at worst don't expect to use it but am planning to buy a better case.
