Obedient basic camera that does what I needI own owned the A460 for some time now and have no complaints. I purchased it for impaired $100.00 from Amazon so have no complaints. I needed a customary-purpose camera to take fishing and on metal detecting outings and the camera has worked important it both situations. I took this camera and two sets of rechargeable batteries on a two-month commerce trip to Japan, Singapore and Diego Garcia and it did an excellent job. The on the other hand complaint I have is it is a little bulky but nothing I cannot persist with. I use other larger cameras for low light work so that was not an problem for me.
Correct basic "point and shoot" camera
We've had this camera for 3 years and it has been an consummate device. Some of its highlights:
* Low price
* Very solid
* Takes pure shots
* Uses standard AA batteries
* Simple to use
Low lights:
* Irreversibility a bit low
* Could be thinner to fit small pockets
All in all, for the price, the great pictures it takes and the longevity, I couldn't be more over the moon.
capable pictures, power hungry
This is a right camera, it takes great pictures under almost any state of affairs. Now, as almost all pocket cameras, it is not easy, much less self-indulgent, to put the menu onscreen and start choosing, so you use it almost always in mechanical point and shoot mode.
4X optical zoom and 4x more in digital zoom is more than most in its presence.
It has an unbelievable hunger for batteries, and it chews them very immorally, both rechargeable or alcaline. That's its most negative orientation, and even with new ones, flash recycle takes a sprinkling seconds (about 15).
Anyway, the pictures are good and 5MP is more than sufficiency.
Ensnare & Switch
I was unsatisfied in my order from Amazon.com. This is the first time I've ordered doesn't matter what and I was passed onto another company called ABC Deals/ The Electronic Alliance for the Canon Supershot camera.
I thought I was buying a new camera and this one appeared to be refurbished as the box was toughened; the camera had some nicks on the camera body; and the camera was not plant sealed in plastic.
ABC Deals, the company that Amazon.com passed me drink to hasn't returned my money in spite of the fact that I returned the camera in a well-timed manner. They were also difficult to get hold of by phone and email.

Hello persons out there:
I brought this camera for taking pictures and keeping it on the laptop. I have no intention of printing it. I am also an amatuer.
For a beginner, and one not so no stranger to in camera usage, it is excellent.
The camera came with distinct booklet, telling you how to use and take care of the camera. The do's and don'ts. It comes with a prime manual, which is very easy to understand. It also comes with an hasten booklet with more detailed information for those who are experts or campaigner users.
I only used the automatic features and I found it terrific. I took outdoors and indoors pictures. What amazed me was that following taking my first pictures outdoors, the camera was able to classify the scene. The first picture it said unidentified but after that it took absolve picture. It also took clear pictures indoors.
I am in the same way very pleased with the LCD monitor. I never use the view finder to defraud a picture, instead I use the LCD monitor, which makes it much easier, and the personification shown of the object your pointing is displayed clearly.
