Suitable basic camera that does what I needI should prefer to owned the A460 for some time now and have no complaints. I purchased it for inferior to $100.00 from Amazon so have no complaints. I needed a common-purpose camera to take fishing and on metal detecting outings and the camera has worked exalted it both situations. I took this camera and two sets of rechargeable batteries on a two-month vocation trip to Japan, Singapore and Diego Garcia and it did an excellent job. The at worst complaint I have is it is a little bulky but nothing I cannot get along with. I use other larger cameras for low light work so that was not an fight for me.
Polished basic "point and shoot" camera
We've had this camera for 3 years and it has been an chimerical device. Some of its highlights:
* Low price
* Very solid
* Takes fair shots
* Uses standard AA batteries
* Simple to use
Low lights:
* Unshakability a bit low
* Could be thinner to fit small pockets
All in all, for the price, the great pictures it takes and the longevity, I couldn't be more on top of the world.
credible pictures, power hungry
This is a goodness camera, it takes great pictures under almost any state of affairs. Now, as almost all pocket cameras, it is not easy, much less wild, to put the menu onscreen and start choosing, so you use it almost always in knee-jerk point and shoot mode.
4X optical zoom and 4x more in digital zoom is more than most in its grade.
It has an unbelievable hunger for batteries, and it chews them very dissipated, both rechargeable or alcaline. That's its most negative manifestation, and even with new ones, flash recycle takes dissimilar seconds (about 15).
Anyway, the pictures are good and 5MP is more than sufficient.

I was disenchanted in my order from Amazon.com. This is the first time I've ordered doesn't matter what and I was passed onto another company called ABC Deals/ The Electronic Team up for the Canon Supershot camera.
I thought I was buying a new camera and this one appeared to be refurbished as the box was second-hand; the camera had some nicks on the camera body; and the camera was not works sealed in plastic.
ABC Deals, the company that Amazon.com passed me throw down to hasn't returned my money in spite of the fact that I returned the camera in a propitious manner. They were also difficult to get hold of by phone and email.

Hello those out there:
I brought this camera for taking pictures and keeping it on the processor. I have no intention of printing it. I am also an amatuer.
For a beginner, and one not so cordial in camera usage, it is excellent.
The camera came with distinct booklet, telling you how to use and take care of the camera. The do's and don'ts. It comes with a essential manual, which is very easy to understand. It also comes with an aid booklet with more detailed information for those who are experts or objector users.
I only used the automatic features and I found it without equal. I took outdoors and indoors pictures. What amazed me was that at the back of taking my first pictures outdoors, the camera was able to single out the scene. The first picture it said unidentified but after that it took pellucid picture. It also took clear pictures indoors.
I am likewise very pleased with the LCD monitor. I never use the view finder to suppose a picture, instead I use the LCD monitor, which makes it much easier, and the depict shown of the object your pointing is displayed clearly.
