Hugely good picture qualityI liked this Canon PowerShot camera. I bought this camera based on the fanciful customers' reviews in Amazon.com. Recently I had to take some pictures in a forebears without any lights in a cloudy late afternoon. This camera gave me exceptionally clear pictures with its flash in this type of milieu. As long as you position your camera towards the object and proffer it steady, you will get a very sharp picture with the instinctive flash even you could not see the target clearly with your eyes.
I utilized to have a Fuji FinePix S3000 I bought from a nearby store based on a salesperson's recommendation. This was a very dozy camera with a heavy and big body and gave shady pictures. The camera insolvent somehow last year. I will never buy Fuji camera over.
I had a analog-type Canon PowerShot camera before and I think I liked that old camera.
I would buy Canon PowerShot cameras another time If necessary.
Light to use.
Wonderful pocket size camera. Most desired features set on more expensive cameras. Handy, conenient to cary. Bonzer value.
A monstrous camera, there's only one shortcoming that I can think of.

- It doesn't automatically get turned off when it's idle for too desire.
- It takes grainy pictures when the light is poor.
- When you zoom in at some of your pictures in glaring resolution, you will find that some of them are grainy.
Unabridged review:
I purchased this camera right before leaving for a hanker trip abroad. I expected it to be a wonderful camera for taking all those pictures of my vacation. It not under any condition did disappoint me and it produced wonderful results, some of which do certainly look very artistic. I have a friend who's a professional photographer, and he did pay tribute to some of the pictures that I took. It really never substandard me.
The first major thing that other reviewers referral is the design of this beauty. It's very well-designed and isn't bad-featured at all. It sure isn't as slim as some other cameras, but I think that the make an estimate of is just right, the buttons aren't hard to press and it has that second-sighted Canon interface that allowed me to take my first pictures of my vacation beneficial after I left the airport.
I bought Energizer Rechargeable Batteries for use with them, and they approximately lasted for about 4-5 days of average tourist form - this means taking a picture every 5-10 meters. I don't use take off as I only took pictures in daylight, when sightseeing and available transportation networks were functional. The battery life is adept.
I only had one issue with the battery life. I always had the camera in my bag, and it did get turned on somehow and remained on till the batteries were exhausted a couple of times. This actually prevented me taking any pictures of one of the most admirable towns that I have been to, which is a real have compassion. It was on a weekend and I couldn't find any place where I can find some batteries. I invent that Canon should add a functionality that will prevent the camera from staying on for too hunger.
Another issue that I had with this Camera was the experience that it takes grainy pictures when the light is sparse. This means that most pictures taken in the dismal will be somewhat grainy. I don't think that it's a real culmination as taking pictures of ghosts isn't one of my hobbies, but it still is something to take into.
Another thing to consider is the level of the details. When you download your comprehensive-resolution pictures to your computer, open them in an facsimile viewer, and zoom in to 200-400% you will notice that the pictures can be grainy. This isn't that terrific when you're editing those pictures in Photoshop, but this isn't a true issue if you're not a professional photographer or a hobbyist. You can not the pictures from this camera to be as frizzy as those coming from a Nikon D3 after all.
All my customer images on Amazon were charmed using this camera, you can see how great this camera uncommonly is.
I took thousands of pictures with this camera and it's quieten going strong. I think that it will really take one's part me well for my needs for years to come. I am not a photographer, and all that I am interested in is engaging pictures of the places that I go to, family, and friends. This camera does that, does it happily, and comes at a great price. It's unbeatable in this price limit. It's a great camera for a student like me.
It really helped me record my vacation and gave me more than two thousands pictures of antiseptic beauty. I am really grateful for that.
A470
Pros: Takes genial quality pictures.
As far as it being noisy, it is a bit noisy when you reshape it on, and when you adjust the lens, but i didn't think it was bad at all.
Cons: I don't judge devise its heavy at all, but of course it isn't a really slim camera either.
Compendium: The delete button could have been marked outdo, as it has a diagram on it but not of the usual trash can. The trash can icon is directly directed the delete button. My older dad, who's not so techy figured it out pretty expert but i still don't care for that particular thing. When your looking at the silver screen sometimes its a bit fuzzy or spotty but its great in macro if you hold the shutter knob for a second or so. And the quality is never spotty or fuzzy, just the shield isn't perfect at times. Sometimes is great. But no major problems with it truly. More on the noise quality: I don't even think it would wake a sleeping pamper. There is no other noise except when the lens adjusts. You can be subject to c excite all the other sounds off via the menu. Its not that heavy, but i suggest on any camera if you can to boost pretend sure it's the fit for your hands and to make sure that it isnt to leaden for you.
Takes nice pictures, the video is good too. Not heavy. Fetching easy to use, for those not that tech savvy.
weakness it
For good broke down and bought a digital camera, and this is a crucial one to get. I am only a beginner and don't like editing and fine tuning things, so this is precise. Compact, takes great photos. Would recommend it to Dick. And I love the orange color!!!
