Canon Powershot S1 IS vs. S2 IS vs. S3 IS?

I currently own a Canon Powershot S1 IS camera, 3.2 megapixels, 10x visual zoom, capable of 640x480 video w/ undamaged.

I recently stumbled upon the Canon S2 IS, the next period update to the S1, for a seriously reduced clearance bonus at Sears (where i also receive a 10% gloss over). I bought the last 2, thinking I could promote at least one of them at a profit, but then I got to reasoning, I should sell my old S1 in favor of the newer representation. The S2 has got 5.0 MP, with a 12x optical zoom, and improved silver screen mode with stereo recording audio.

Groundwork line, I picked up the S2 for $222.99. Rock essentially solid. Problem is, I love my S1 so much and it has been so hard-free that I don't know if I should chance going to the next model.

Furthermore, the S3 is now entering the Stock Exchange, but is still way out of my price range. Do you think S2 would be the most successfully value? I've heard it can be buggy/problemous, should I tied bother upgrading? Any info would be greatly esteemed! Thanks!
Long Question Short: Has one had any problems with their S2? Regrettable secure?

Go in this and read the review of the S3.

    http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canons3is/

It says that the S2 was a big not agreeable with above the S1, but the S3 is a "minor upgrade" to the S2. 'Nuff said.

But, if you are terminally nosy, read on down the page where they approach the S2 and S3 and tell you what's new and improved.

My daughter has had her S2 since ultimate summer (2006) and has not had any problems with it so far. Coolly, she did let someone mess with her camera and they set it in some brand of active auto-focus mode, if that makes perceive to you. I think it must be for fast moving subjects. In a trice we turned that off, she was happy again.
