Canon Powershot S60 camera won't upload photos?

My Powershot S60 camera has stopped uploading photos to our Mac OS X 10.49.When I sew the camera it doesn't come up in the iphoto process any more and the yellow light does not give away on the camera.
It stays in the green light viewing fashion.
I've tried everything in the camera manuals and iphoto inform appropriate.
    Any other suggestions please.

I'm reliable you've tried these basics first, so unclothed with me.

    While camera is disconnected.
    1. Restart the laptop, and while it is black, hold keys Apple (Demand) + Option + P + R down until you sanction it "bong" three times. It's m "zapping the PRAM" which plainly tidies up the system. All 4 keys need to be held nap at once, and must be held down while boycott startup screen and, though uncomfortable, postponed till those 3 bongs, then distribute and it starts up as usual.
    2. Make sure all USB cables are of interest securely.
    3. Do you have to set the Canon to a mode that looks like an "upload" trend? My Canon has a icon looking like a square with a triangle in it.
    4. If it's quiet not recognized .... I would try another USB cablegram if you have it. Any that have that smaller camera link will do.
    5. If it's still not recognized - think if you've further any new software lately. Is there new Canon driver software out there? http://www.usa.canon.com/html/canonindex .html

All Canon's drudgery with Mac - you won't need to transfer to Windows.

    Anticipation this helps.
