pictures in nefarious club during concerts, with forgiven and bright results WITHOUT using flash?
Stabilized cameras wishes steady the camera, but certainly not the dancers, so the shutter expedition rules will still apply, neutral if you don't have any noticeable camera relocation.
Bright? Probably not ... those clubs are pulchritudinous dark. You can meter the stage and use that for shooting the reading, but again there will be some action unless you are willing to shoot at high ISO's and parcel out with the noise later.
I use a D300 with the ISO at 6400 ISO with a 24-70 mm f/2.8 lens, so I keep a lot of latitude when I am shooting concerts.
And there are times when I do use an superficial flash.
