Which camera do you think I should buy?
Jun 13, 2007 by Pattylou | Posted in Cameras
I be to buy a digital camera that's easygoing to handle but that also gives me a wager to play with the manual options, so not impartial a Point-and-shoot but not a Digital SLRs either...
I entertain 3 options:
Canon PowerShot SD900
Canon PowerShot A640 10MP Digital Camera with 4x Visual Zoom
Canon PowerShot SD900 Titanium 10MP Digital Elph Camera with 3x Visual Zoom
Which one do you think is the best? Do you tease another option for me?
Thanks a lot!
First of all, there are not 2 options there, not three.
Secondly, the SD900 (which is the just the same as the SD900 Titanium), has no manual controls. A pretty most luxurious camera, but perhaps not what you're looking for.
If you don't wavering be decided having something that isn't a certain extent so small, I'd go with the Canon A570IS or A710IS, which both contain manual controls and image stabilization that the 640 doesn't secure. But, with the 640 you get 10Mpix if that's impressive to you. It should only be important to you if you are either printing unquestionably large or doing a lot of cropping. there's a poor edge in resolution, but it's not as much as you authority think.
You might also consider the Canon G7. It offers more zoom and mastery. It would drive me nutz to have to go into a menu every lifetime I wanted to change ISO.
