Most beneficent 1st Digital Camera I will haveI am penmanship this review on my 3 year old FujiFilm FinePix A330 because I will one day be ordering another FujiFilm (probably a S700) and I wanted to pay due respect to my trusty 1st digital camera I owned.
Hold it or not, the A330 consistently takes professional quality outdoor photos for which I possess always been grateful for because that is what I use my camera for. I take for it out in the middle of nowhere and have taken clear, crisp photos. It is dynamically to imagine a 3MP digital camera being able to take important pics consistently in this age of 10 MP cameras.
The 3x Optical zoom was accomplish for close-up flower shots or far away mountain shots. The firmness on this camera was excellent considering it is a entry-level camera where profuse of comparable price will blur and distort.
This camera had no more than enough features on it to take great pics, but was not overwhelming for me as a beginner digicam owner. I liked the fact that I could finger the camera on, point, zoom, and shoot.
To sum it up, I love this camera and command keep it as a back up. It has turned me from a novice to a photographer intriguing award-winning photographs in 3 years time and I cannot interval to get my hands on my next FujiFilm with twice as many megapixels and 10x visual zoom in the S700!
My sooner non-disposable camera.
I received this camera respecting 3 years ago as a Christmas present. It was the first camera I had unless you consider maybe 2 or 3 disposables. So, obviously I feared I would have a lot to learn fro taking good pictures but this was not the case. This camera is incredibly lenient to use for anyone and includes an extensively detailed instruction manual that should distinct up anything (it also explains some basic image winning tips that are very helpful). I like things uninvolved so I leave the camera on Auto about 95% of the time and it does an remarkable job. I don't know anything about white balance or EVs and frankly I don't mind a look after because I get the pictures I want. I can't vouch for the ease of use of the included software in whatever way because I simply plug it into my Mac and drag and drop the images because I don't like "messing up" my pictures with all the editing. I don't confidence in in changing things in my pictures (except possibly cropping) because I invent it's "cheating" to enhance images after they've been captivated (I won't go into further detail about this because I don't insufficiency to start arguements).
This is a very basic point-and-dash camera (a camera for everyday use by the average person). In this is a breakdown of the pros and cons.
Pros
+takes great pictures if you recognize nothing about cameras (other than, obviously pushing the knob)
+takes great pictures in various light settings
+the macro technique (close-up) is amazing and you can get incredibly close to your subject
+incredibly comfortable to use and yields great results comparable to "better" cameras (elevate surpass cameras include newer cameras, or cameras with more megapixels)
+stupendous prints are made from the pictures (although I don't make scads prints)
+there is a zoom feature
+there is a video quirk
+has a viewfinder (not digital which is another +) that is decidedly accurate
+the LCD is very sharp
+the lens is covered completely so it can't get diluted, if the camera is off (the front part that says "Finepix" slides as surplus the lens which retracts into the camera)
+uses AA batteries
+I've had no problems at all with any suggest of this camera at any time
Cons
-takes a long be that as it may to start up if you need to snap a shot quickly
-night shots are hazy if you don't use a tripod
-the LCD is small
-the video feature lacks audio to go despondent with it (I don't really use this much though)
-battery spirit could be better I suppose but I manage to get about 150-200 shots per allege ( I use rechargeable batteries)
-the memory card is an xD memory card (which translates to nothing more than a recollection card that's a little pricey, but you can still manage to windfall good deals on the cards)
-the zoom doesn't get you that much quicker to your subject which is fine for most users but I as a person would have liked a little more zoom
-purely has 3.2 MP because it's somewhat old which means that you can't fly large prints (larger than 8x10)
The pros outweigh the cons.
Rump Line: The only reason you shouldn't have this camera if you're at all interested in focal everyday photoshooting is because it's a little outdated and if it had 1 more megapixel then there would be no rationalization because of to not have it.
I have submitted a couple images that I procure taken so you can see the beautiful results this camera produces. Tip that when looking at my images THIS IS MY FIRST CAMERA!

By a hair's breadth as a note of interest: When I upgraded to a newer camera I switched to a Kodak Z-650 (or 700, I don't about which) and had terrible image and transferring problems. I returned the camera and bought myself a Fuji E900 which I honey now. Fuji has the best cameras on the market in my opinion.
Satisfactory camera for the money
This is a seemly, cheap camera that's getting cheaper -- I over I paid about $150 for it, and I see Amazon has it for under $100 now. It takes gain pictures indoors and out, although the flash has a harsh quality that makes indoor portraits unattractive. For alfresco fill, the flash works great. Movie mode works serenely, but without sound, is kind of useless. The controls are all very simple to use, battery life is good, and the sliding lens cover is a proper feature. The camera is lightweight and easy to carry along, but is a bit too ungainly for a pants pocket. The case is a combination of plastic and metal (aluminum I fantasize) that feels a bit flimsy but has held up OK in the two years I've had mine.
Apart from everyday camera
I purchased look through over a year ago and really love it! The lens stays sheltered when not in use, thanks to the sliding cover. It's lightweight and small sufficiency to easily fit into my purse. The controls are easy to use (much easier than the wheel of the previous Fuji camera I owned.) The quality of the pictures it takes is miraculous for "only" 3.1 megapixels. Colors are true (especially peel tones), focus is always excellent, details are superb and realistic. Besides regular family photos, I also use this camera for selling tiny items on Ebay and, again, the quality is excellent. When the in unison a all the same comes for me to replace this camera, it will only be in rank to have a movie-shoot function. Otherwise, this has been the most successfully camera I've ever owned!
pure for the price.
the flatten out of satisfaction you will get with this camera totally depends on what you're looking for when you buy it. If you're looking for a benevolent start-up camera this is the perfect choice. easy to carry on, good quality pictures, and an outstanding price.
i would definately promote this camera to that crowd.
but if you're more serious close to photography and want consistant results from this camera, you won't on it here. about half of the pictures you take will be sleepy and only about 10% will probably turn out the way you miss.
but i can't imagine why those people would buy such a cheap camera if they're that poker-faced. that's why i give it 4 stars.
