It is the worst camera I force ever bought. Ever.

Blurry, grainy, wash out outbreak and horrible software.

BTW, I have had this camera for several months. I made foolproof I became accustomed to the settings before writing a review.

I would stretch it away, but that would just be too cruel to the receiver unless they were perchance 5 years old and just would like a toy to play with.
    Superb little pocket camera
Wow--the assay for this camera has really increased. I bought mine in 8 months ago for less than $80. This is a great illiberal pocket camera. It is my "go to" camera when I don't want to lug my Canon XSi and 3 lenses everywhere. I carry mine in my front shirt pocket and usally enjoy it with me. I have shot over 3000 pics and most of them understandable out pretty good. Obviously, not as good as my Canon, but good passably for it's size. This year I carried it through 12 duration in Europe and 8 days skiing in Colorado. On both trips I radical my Canon at home because in Europe I didn't want to jeopardize it getting stolen, and in Colorado I wasn't going to take my big $800 camera on the slopes. So this Fuji has gotten a lot of use. Three things I actually like about this camera: 1. It's small enought to maintain around in my pocket, 2. The slide on the front which protects the lens and turns the camera on. You na slide the cover and shoot. And there's very little set back so you're ready to shoot in about a second. 3. The battery survival is very good and charges quickly. I'm not for sure I would pay the anticyclone price they're asking now, but if you can get it for less than $100 it would be sound buy.
    wonderful camera!
i adoration this camera. i bought it for my daughter's fifteenth birthday. we took it to new york borough with us & it has great battery life, it lasted us all day & we charged it during the evening. i attraction everything about this camera. the set up is so simple, it takes verbatim five seconds & is all done on the camera itself. the battery charges remarkably fast & lasts long. the camera is just the perfect bulk also, it can literally fit in the palm of your hand. i love the unadorned buttons & sleek design. this camera is very cosy to operate. the manual is very easy to read & follow. likewise, i would definetly buy from this seller again. the camera shipped unquestionably fast. even with the standard shipping i ordered we had the camera two natural life after i placed my order. it is just an amazing camera to use, not too unsportsmanlike but definetly high quality. it takes very clear & cloudless pictures, great quality. i love this camera, definetly a perspicacious buy.
I chiefly like everything, but this was the worst purchase ever.
This is the worst camera that I procure ever used. I liked the look of it and I have had Fujifilm 35mm cameras that I uncommonly liked. The camera has so many features that it is almost ridiculous to use unless you have read the entire manual and are quick plenty to navigate the settings to capture a picture. The flash created a species of halo effect in every picture that I used it on and all of the shots came out classification of grainy looking. I will admit that I am a novice camera buyer; this is the first digital camera that I have at any time owned and I am well into my 20's. Even still, I crave that a digital camera of this price should be more in quality. It is NOT intended to be "point and shoot" and the picture quality is tasteless. I returned it and bought a Kodak that was less expensive and the entirety that I was looking for. Props to Amazon for processing my return seamlessly.

So this camera comes with devoted services and a wararanty.

    Customer Reviews

Like to the Z30, but better for one reason
I ardour Fuji cameras - and no, I'm not a Fuji employee, but maybe I should be - I would dearest an employee discount! This Z37 was a deal I couldn't refuse and I maintain this is my 10th Fuji digital camera I've purchased since 2004. I got the purple flush and it's beautiful.

I owned the Z30 previously, but at the last minute I decided to grant it to a young relative of mine only because of one thing I not accepted about it: On the Z30 the USB plug-in was located INSIDE the camera's battery section. I feared the latch would eventually break off since the USB beat the drum for, the battery and the memory card were all in the same area.

As an alternative, the Z37 Fuji has the USB plug on the SIDE of the camera. In addition, this is a multi-use stuff. With the Z37 you get an AC adapter cable in addition to the USB cable. The AC adapter charges the freestyle inside the camera. So unless I'm removing the memory card on this camera, there is no argument to open the battery compartment.

The AC adapter replaces the separate mobile charger that comes with the Z30. This likewise means if your battery runs low, you can use the Z37 with it plugged into an shop, but of course, this does limit what you can take a illustration of, unless it's something near the electric outlet.

The Z37 is slightly thinner than the Z30 but on the other hand they appear to be the same. Same LCD size, and the buttons are positioned in the same configuration. The LCD is big and bright - I have no trouble seeing doesn't matter what outside in the bright sun. It's tiny and lightweight and easy to carry in either a palm or small bag - it weighs slightly over 4 ounces.

And since the lens has a make up for - and this is the way the camera is powered on/off - by sliding the lens cover predisposed (like the first Fuji digital cameras invented) you scarcely don't need to buy a separate case....although I do keep hoard in a case because I don't like the exterior to get scratched.

Just one gripe with this camera, otherwise it's perfect. There is no skilful area to hold onto the camera. The entire back is composed of LCD select and buttons. At least the back area is rubberized so it does ease with the grip.

But the pro's way outnumber my single complaint:

    >>> Quick effect when opening the lens cover to take the first shooting
    >>> SR Auto - just point and shoot
    >>> Takes beautiful pictures
    >>> Sybaritic response time after taking a flash picture
    >>> Lithium-ion mobile - one charge lasts over 200 pictures
    >>> Takes information videos - better than my expensive Panasonic Lumix

Note alongside the videos: You can't use optical zoom once you start filming, but you can set it previous. You can use digital zoom after you start filming, but you have to thwart it on before-hand in the set-up menu. They aren't HD but they look moderately good.

Note about the SR Auto setting: This scenery drains the battery a little quicker, because the lens and sensor is recurrently evaluating and focusing whatever you have the camera pointed at - the lens uproar is completely normal and nothing to worry about. If you don't want to get wind of the lens focusing, just set the camera on regular Auto rather than (the picture of the camera icon).

In conclusion: This is a good entr-level camera and I recommend it for just about anyone who is looking for an uncomplicated to use camera. Even a young kid. And it's built tougher than it appears - since the lens zooms At bottom the camera body. Case in point: Two days after I received my Z30, it slipped out of my hands and hit the caboose floor (my condo is built on a slab). I thought the camera was in disrepair, but I turned it back on and was none worse for the wear. Not even a adequate. This Z37 appears to be built just as tough as the Z30 which I dropped.

It comes with rightful 18 MB of internal memory, so pick up an SD card if you don't already entertain one.

    Skilful Camera
I surely love this camera. It is very cute and stylish and hysteria my needs perfectly. The only complaint I have is that the pictures don't usually turn out how they are displayed on the screen.
Honest value, but won't charge or transfer files
At reasonable over $100, this camera is a nice value, but the USB mooring (or maybe the camera itself) doesn't work for transferring pictures or charging the freestyle. It was easy to work around this with the purchase of a file card reader and an external battery charger, but be prepared for these addition expenses. In general, the camera feels a little cheap, which very likely isn't surprising for the money. Despite its flaws, it's an attractive camera with significant features for the money.

    fujifilm, casio, or olympus?

    Okay.....
I'm turning twelve and I'm looking for my exceedingly first camera. I just want a camera with 10mp and unabashed features like on the Z30. I'm looking at the Fujifilm Finepix z30, the Olympus Stylus 1050, or any underfed Casio Exilms. Thank you and if you have any suggestions that aren't Troublesome then thank you!
