Valid camera even after a few years of use.Seeing as how I've owned this camera for near 6 years I thought it time to write a review.
The last volume of reviews came from 2007,so this one is long belated.
First and foremost,I notice a few reviews of people pointing out that following owning the product for a while that sometimes the LCD screen becomes fuzzy,along with the pictures taken.After owning my camera for around a year I suffered from the same exact problem. Putting,I found a simple solution.Simply press up on the zoom knob to come back into focus! It was that easy,even so it took me quiet a way to figure that one out. For some strange defence the A350 quits auto zooming after so much use.
At one side my camera did fizzle out on me and refused to open the lens. I believe the trouble stemmed from a particular incident in which I dropped the A350.
For all that my warranty covered the damage and it was returned as good as new. Since the commotion,from time to time I run into a little mechanical bother,but not enough to call it a habit. The zoom works good,for all that a full on zoom of any particular object is almost futile,due to the low-down zooming in the A350 to its full capacity causes the batteries to die rather fast.In that regard this camera fails but that doesn't engender it to falter completely.
The highlight of this camera is the simple shop along with an easy to use interface,with the ability to face quality pictures. I've managed to snap a few I still can't believe was qualified of being taken on this little camera.
If you're reading this reassessment now,most likely you're in the market for an affordable camera that takes believable pictures. This camera does this and a little more.
Different feature of the A350 is the ability to record video. The quality isn't wonderful but i've found it to deliver decent video considering the fact this appliance is primemarily a camera. It's a nice extra for the low price.
By todays standards this camera is eclipsed by more contemporary creations but that doesn't mean it isn't without charm.
Attractive but flawed

This is actually the 2nd of this basic model that I get owned. For the price I paid it takes good pics.
I didn't be suffering with the blurry picture issues that some folks require complained about. I suspect a lot of them were taking pictures indoors and had turned the bolt off.
However, both of these have had problems with the lens sticking. The foremost one was an A345 and it's lens failed after about 13 months, i.e. at the rear the warranty ran out.
I bought the A350 as a replacement about a year ago because I liked the layout of the wheel on the A345 and the optical viewfinder, great for action shots. I enjoyment the continuous shooting mode, if you're trying to catch a good rule the roost of a duck coming in for a landing or taking off, or any other kind of skirmish shot this feature works great.
Now the lens is starting to tie on the A350. From the other reviews I've seen this appears to be a focal design flaw.
I like to carry a camera with me all the nevertheless in case there's a photo opportunity. This camera does not be clear to be rugged enough for that. I'm going to take it to work to picture equipment and test setups as long as it holds up and probably pop with respect to $100 more for a decent Canon to carry around.
Experiencing reflex difficulties
For 8 months, this camera did what it was meant to. Then the lens would not open. Sent back to Fuji comprised in warranty and 6 weeks later, it was fixed. No issues for another 8 months, then every now the lens opens and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it will Loosely transpire b Nautical tack into focus and sometimes it won't. This = missed photos or some unfocused shots.
It was decent while it lasted, just bought a Canon.
Healthy for what its worth.
I would rather had this camera for about a year. It takes excellent pictures, but it does eat batteries and recently- it when all is said died. None of the pictures I now take come out. Sometimes they do and at times they have tons of thick white scratchy words on them. This has never happened before. I always conceal everything on automatic.

I bought a over-nice used fuji a350. IT's good for the most part. Software is sound to use, if you know anything about draging highlighted stuff all about to a folder. It took me some time to figure it out. The camera in the cardinal few weeks, the telescoping lense somehow got cocked out of possition, and would not steal back in. I don't know if it was bumped or jumped gear? I very on purpose, examined it, and did some chriopractic bone snap and got it back in appointment and seems to work now. The pics turn out nice for the most go away. , but can be blurry probably due to movement?. Im not happy with barest close up's, but maybe there is a manual setting?? You must stay somewhere else about 18 inches for it to not be blurry. The flash I think is alittle junior to-power, so night shots should be with normal talking detach. The Video mode sucks. sound and video skip relating to every 10 seconds. Sometimes making the sound off run down of the video for quick split second or cuts out. I don't know if this is well-adjusted or is my camera bad? but im figuring from my research it very well could be conformist for this model. But the video does come in handy if your not anxious about little skips or missing words due to audio raw as well. I dont like the delay when you take a artwork. THis is my first real dig. camera, comming from a kodak dc20 win.3.1 fount. so I will know what to look for when i get a different one, but for now, I imagine 5mp will be fine for my picture taking. Bring extera batteries.
