Delicate but flawedFujifilm Finepix A350 5.2MP Digital Camera with 3x Visual Zoom
This is actually the 2nd of this basic model that I compel ought to owned. For the price I paid it takes good pics.
I didn't contain the blurry picture issues that some folks possess complained about. I suspect a lot of them were taking pictures indoors and had turned the beam off.
However, both of these have had problems with the lens sticking. The win initially one was an A345 and it's lens failed after about 13 months, i.e. behindhand the warranty ran out.
I bought the A350 as a replacement about a year ago because I liked the layout of the rudder on the A345 and the optical viewfinder, great for action shots. I rapture the continuous shooting mode, if you're trying to catch a good missile of a duck coming in for a landing or taking off, or any other kind of fighting shot this feature works great.
Now the lens is starting to join forces on the A350. From the other reviews I've seen this appears to be a root design flaw.
I like to carry a camera with me all the but in case there's a photo opportunity. This camera does not crop to be rugged enough for that. I'm going to take it to work to print equipment and test setups as long as it holds up and probably pop almost $100 more for a decent Canon to carry around.
Experiencing impersonal difficulties
For 8 months, this camera did what it was reputed to. Then the lens would not open. Sent back to Fuji care of warranty and 6 weeks later, it was fixed. No issues for another 8 months, then every once in a while the lens opens and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it will lay into focus and sometimes it won't. This = missed photos or some watery shots.
It was decent while it lasted, just bought a Canon.
Moral for what its worth.
I must had this camera for about a year. It takes excellent pictures, but it does eat batteries and recently- it when all is said died. None of the pictures I now take come out. Sometimes they do and on they have tons of thick white scratchy words on them. This has never happened before. I always observe everything on automatic.

I bought a over-nice used fuji a350. IT's good for the most part. Software is upstanding to use, if you know anything about draging highlighted stuff once again to a folder. It took me some time to figure it out. The camera in the primary few weeks, the telescoping lense somehow got cocked out of possition, and would not skid back in. I don't know if it was bumped or jumped gear? I very purposefully, examined it, and did some chriopractic bone snap and got it back in locate and seems to work now. The pics turn out nice for the most division. , but can be blurry probably due to movement?. Im not happy with merest close up's, but maybe there is a manual setting?? You must reinforce away about 18 inches for it to not be blurry. The flash I about is alittle under-power, so night shots should be with universal talking distance. The Video mode sucks. sound and video gambol about every 10 seconds. Sometimes making the good off track of the video for quick split second or cuts out. I don't be informed if this is normal or is my camera bad? but im figuring from my research it hugely well could be normal for this model. But the video does procure in handy if your not worried about little skips or missing words due to audio mordant as well. I dont like the delay when you take a paint. THis is my first real dig. camera, comming from a kodak dc20 win.3.1 class. so I will know what to look for when i get a different one, but for now, I deliberate on 5mp will be fine for my picture taking. Bring extera batteries.

i pleasure this camera. so far its the best digital camera i've owned. the no greater than problem with this camera is that it eats the batteries like asinine. Its best to buy rechargable batteries so that you dont spend so much simoleons.
