Annihilate OF MONEY. ZERO BATTERY LIFE AFTER 4 USES.I bought this camera to run after pictures of my garden. I used it maybe four times, and then started having problems with the batteries. I would resort to two or three pictures, not even using the flash, and would get a low freestyle message. I tried replacing the batteries, with more and more high-priced batteries, finally buying batteries advertised as the best for use with digital cameras. I put them in, took two pictures, and the camera stopped working. I took the camera to my adjoining photo shop and described the problem. The camera shop hand tried putting his store's batteries in the camera. One after the other, nobody of the batteries, no matter how much power they had (he tested them forward of putting them in the camera) would work in the camera. He once suggested that I remove the batteries from the camera when it wasn't time used. I have owned two other digital cameras anterior to this one, and they both took many, many pictures, including VIDEOS on ONE SET of measure batteries. This camera was a WASTE OF MONEY.
Shapely Little Workhorse
This is my regular 'backpack' camera, when I'm not carrying my slightly larger Fuji S700 or much larger S9000. It replaces my superior A400 because of it's added features, such as the 4X zoom preferably of 3X (not a big difference, but enough), as well as all the added scene position choices. I've done precise-ups, portraits, night shots, landscapes and indoor scenes with and without outburst, and I'm impressed. Enlargements are no problem for this camera, either. It's tractable to carry just about anywhere. Learn to use the ISO settings and location positions and even get a tiny tripod--the camera will stun you.Fujifilm Finepix A820 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom
Atomic power required
For the first place 5-6 months, my 820 did fine with 2700mAh NiMH batteries. Without warning, upon turn on, the empty battery icon flashes and it shuts fine hair within 5 seconds. I am using the same batteries and even bought new ones. No arrangement. Sent it back to Fuji for repair. They sent it furtively with the same problem. It's a great camera otherwise. Lots of features and video w/far-sighted. But now it just doesn't stay on long enough to use it. Alkalines last wishes as last only 8-10 minutes and less with scintillate. I'll try the repair route again. It might just be my camera's imbroglio, but if you do buy it, don't get too emotionally attached.
upon remote review
i bought this camera in July and was unhesitatingly impressed. Now its 5 months later and it is starting to act up. The auto focus has change unpredictable and when you power up and down the camera is making a "spiritless" noise that is making me worried that one day it wont power up at all.
I as a matter of fact thought this would be my last camera for a while but it seems that I'm sponsor to shopping again.
Disagreeable Customer Service!!!
The camera is out of this world as long as nothing goes wrong. Fuji has the worst person service I have ever delt with. They unfashionable you from one person to another and do everything they can not to help you. Be disposed to deal with the worst customer service in the business. I indeed hope this helps you.
