Sweepings OF MONEY. ZERO BATTERY LIFE AFTER 4 USES.I bought this camera to accept pictures of my garden. I used it maybe four times, and then started having problems with the batteries. I would entertain two or three pictures, not even using the flash, and would get a low mobile message. I tried replacing the batteries, with more and more costly batteries, finally buying batteries advertised as the best for use with digital cameras. I put them in, took two pictures, and the camera stopped working. I took the camera to my specific photo shop and described the problem. The camera shop wage-earner tried putting his store's batteries in the camera. One after the other, not any of the batteries, no matter how much power they had (he tested them preceding the time when putting them in the camera) would work in the camera. He in fine suggested that I remove the batteries from the camera when it wasn't time used. I have owned two other digital cameras in the past this one, and they both took many, many pictures, including VIDEOS on ONE SET of paradigm batteries. This camera was a WASTE OF MONEY.
Obedient Little Workhorse
This is my unexceptional 'backpack' camera, when I'm not carrying my slightly larger Fuji S700 or much larger S9000. It replaces my exclude A400 because of it's added features, such as the 4X zoom as contrasted with of 3X (not a big difference, but enough), as well as all the added scene position choices. I've done conclude-ups, portraits, night shots, landscapes and indoor scenes with and without flash, and I'm impressed. Enlargements are no predicament for this camera, either. It's easy to carry just here anywhere. Learn to use the ISO settings and scene positions and even get a micro tripod--the camera will amaze you.Fujifilm Finepix A820 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Visual Zoom
Atomic power required
For the head 5-6 months, my 820 did fine with 2700mAh NiMH batteries. Instantaneously, upon turn on, the empty battery icon flashes and it shuts fine hair within 5 seconds. I am using the same batteries and even bought new ones. No sell. Sent it back to Fuji for repair. They sent it secretly with the same problem. It's a great camera otherwise. Lots of features and video w/reasonable. But now it just doesn't stay on long enough to use it. Alkalines whim last only 8-10 minutes and less with outburst. I'll try the repair route again. It might just be my camera's dilemma, but if you do buy it, don't get too emotionally attached.
upon remote review
i bought this camera in July and was the moment that impressed. Now its 5 months later and it is starting to act up. The auto focus has fit unpredictable and when you power up and down the camera is making a "distant" noise that is making me worried that one day it wont power up at all.
I actually thought this would be my last camera for a while but it seems that I'm behindhand to shopping again.
Acute Customer Service!!!
The camera is superior as long as nothing goes wrong. Fuji has the worst guy service I have ever delt with. They dated you from one person to another and do everything they can not to help you. Be disposed to deal with the worst customer service in the business. I actually hope this helps you.
