Debilitate OF MONEY. ZERO BATTERY LIFE AFTER 4 USES.I bought this camera to resort to pictures of my garden. I used it maybe four times, and then started having problems with the batteries. I would bamboozle two or three pictures, not even using the flash, and would get a low battery-operated message. I tried replacing the batteries, with more and more priceless batteries, finally buying batteries advertised as the best for use with digital cameras. I put them in, took two pictures, and the camera stopped working. I took the camera to my neighbourhood photo shop and described the problem. The camera shop hand tried putting his store's batteries in the camera. One after the other, no person of the batteries, no matter how much power they had (he tested them ahead of putting them in the camera) would work in the camera. He for ever suggested that I remove the batteries from the camera when it wasn't living used. I have owned two other digital cameras in the presence of this one, and they both took many, many pictures, including VIDEOS on ONE SET of type batteries. This camera was a WASTE OF MONEY.
Acceptable Little Workhorse
This is my familiar 'backpack' camera, when I'm not carrying my slightly larger Fuji S700 or much larger S9000. It replaces my smashing A400 because of it's added features, such as the 4X zoom in preference to of 3X (not a big difference, but enough), as well as all the added scene position choices. I've done conclude-ups, portraits, night shots, landscapes and indoor scenes with and without whistle, and I'm impressed. Enlargements are no problem for this camera, either. It's relaxed to carry just about anywhere. Atomic power required
For the earliest 5-6 months, my 820 did fine with 2700mAh NiMH batteries. Momentarily, upon turn on, the empty battery icon flashes and it shuts fluff within 5 seconds. I am using the same batteries and even bought new ones. No buy. Sent it back to Fuji for repair. They sent it repudiate with the same problem. It's a great camera otherwise. Lots of features and video w/fit as a fiddle. But now it just doesn't stay on long enough to use it. Alkalines force last only 8-10 minutes and less with scintillation. I'll try the repair route again. It might just be my camera's complication, but if you do buy it, don't get too emotionally attached.

i bought this camera in July and was straight away impressed. Now its 5 months later and it is starting to act up. The auto focus has grace unpredictable and when you power up and down the camera is making a "dead" noise that is making me worried that one day it wont power up at all.
I genuinely thought this would be my last camera for a while but it seems that I'm insidiously a overcome to shopping again.
Awful Customer Service!!!
The camera is acute as long as nothing goes wrong. Fuji has the worst consumer service I have ever delt with. They archaic you from one person to another and do everything they can not to help you. Be instant to deal with the worst customer service in the business. I genuinely hope this helps you.
