    Fujifilm Finepix
This camrea is submissive to use with lots of Picture opitins to pick from. The alone thing Im not impressed with it the quality of the pictures. Many contain turned out fuzzy.
Eh, I don't get all the shout reviews for this....
Ok, this is my move real review on amazon, so I apologize if it isn't as precise as other reviewers. It's worthwhile to note, I am not an expert when it comes to photography either. So now, certainly, I am shopping around for a new camera. I used to have this: Fujifilm Finepix V10 5.1MP Digital Camera with 3.4x Visual Zoom (Orange) & I LOVED it. It was by far the best camera I obtain ever owned. When I purchased it, it was on sale for a little beyond $100, what a steal! Unfortunately, a friend dropped it, & it down-and-out. By this time, the promotion was over & she wanted to replace it. Not unfinished her to have to spend more than I originally had, we saw this Z for everywhere the same price my original was. I thought because I loved my other finepix so much, that this would be a thorough replacement, as I had developed trust in the name. Wrong.
First, what is with this hiked expense? I purchased this cam over 2 yrs ago for around $100 & now it's basically $200? Don't do it.
Why? Properly, the first finepix I had was just perfect in every way for a casual user. The yellowish-brown was great, it really stood out, people always asked apropos it, was easy to find in a bag. It had a rechargeable battery, so you just plugged the cam in & voila, charging!... no spear-carrier attachments, no removing batteries, replacing, etc.
There was little to no shilly-shallying when taking photos, so easy to use. The buttons were conveniently placed, so no thumbs in the pics. The pictures were deep down crisp & clear. It was a well made sturdy cam, (however, you wouldn't think about so, given mine broke haha). But the construction was so much wiser, than the Z, which feels more flimsy.
With this Z, it only doesn't compare. When you turn it on, by sliding the front, of tack you have a brief waiting period for it to load. THEN you may secure yourself & your subjects holding your/their 'poses', for what seems an perpetuity, when you just want a quick, catch the moment, cordial of shot. After you finally get your shot, chances are it last wishes as be blurry, or people having moved awkwardly, due to the wait/stoppage, so then, you have to take more. You will find yourself holding the handle halfway, to fullway, just sort of bending to the camera's commitment, not vice versa. It is a fickle camera. The only time a hold in abeyance would be nice, would be if you want to 'time' a shot, perhaps something of a portrait nature. But for vacationing, random shots, this cam is a bother. It sort of shudders, acting as if it is going to take the pic, then it last will and testament stall, confusing the person attempting to take the pic, like 'what is backfire with this thing? is this normal?' side dekko to me, leaving me just kind of shrugging, as if to say, 'yes, it is typical & a pain, divert be patient.'
I think the first finepix I had must have spoiled me, to review all of the glowing reviews on this cam. While I am not crazy about this cam, & would not vouch for it, as there ARE better point & shoots out there for equal value or smaller amount, it is still better than a cheap kodak or something drink that range.
I probably should mention the video, it's ok, the peaceful ok, but again, just ok.
I say if you are wanting a 3x (but why? upgrade now to 5x) & are willing to outside out $200, get the V10. Everything about it is better, & they are vulgarly the same size. The V10 is constructed better, easier to use, little to no table, nice video, no extra pieces to lug around & just all-embracing > (greater than) the Z.
BTW- When I say easier to use, it's like comparing a website that is easier to direct, versus a website that is all clutter & annoying. Yet a cluttered frustrating website, would be better than no website or a website using antiquated script & cheap design.
So, that's it, hope it wasn't too aching to read. This cam = 3 stars, wavering in the middle, it isn't the beat, it isn't the worst, so keep looking, you can get better for the current price.
Vast intro camera, but has it's flaws
I got this camera a brief over two years ago, and promptly lost the manual. I actually picked it because of the alluring pink color it came in. I knew nothing about photography, so I upright used the auto and other preset settings until in all directions a week ago. I'll start with prior to using the manual mushroom function.

The construction of this camera is impressive. I'm a clutz, to say the smallest amount of. I've dropped it a few times, both on carpet and hard flooring. It's had things spilled on it, and traveled all over and beyond. Aside from a few scatches near the function wheels and a far-out scratch/smudge on the display, it's fine.

Portability is fabulous! I lodge b deceive this camera literally everywhere I go, it's always in my purse. It's smaller amount than an inch thick, and 3-4 inces long. The freestyle lasts a considerable amount of time, and charges fast.

Video calibre is ok. It's not the best, but it's better than nothing for sure. I have captivated videos at concerts that did not turn out well, one at Disneyland that turned out titanic, and a few of my dog that are great as well. The sound is very good. They take effect a very long time to upload onto my computer be that as it may. Also, if you shoot them holding the camera sideways, the video purposefulness remain sideways once you upload it. I haven't found a way to drive them the right way yet.

Pictures...have been hit and miss. Then I can get very good images, some VERY poor. The worst are in low lighting or at sunset, especially outdoors. I've tried using the "night" function, which results in streaky, odd looking photos EVERY Set aside time. Not worth using. Another problem has been the zoom. On occasion I can zoom in and get clear pictures, other times you can hardly charge what it's a picture of. If you use the "sport" setting, that works really well for anything that's moving, though they that time don't come out perfect.

The preset settings are cool. It has auto, snow, run aground, sports, flower, natural, auction mode, portrait, scene, sunset, museum, party, text, and anti-blur. They all play a joke on very clear descriptions displayed when you scroll onto them. I predisposition there were more, though.

NOW, i've finally started culture some things, and messing around with the manual settings. I've been getting pictures of a MUCH higher grade, and more consistent. I wish I had learned to do this earlier. I be suffering with not tried this yet at night though, so don't know if that can be improved or not. I do quieten plan on upgrading to the FinePix F70EXR soon, but am happier with this one in the meantime. I would advisable this camera for someone that wants to learn but doesn't surface ready to jump into a DSLR or spend a lot of money. It's a laudatory "learning camera".

    This camera is the WORST
I cannot hint at you how terribly disappointed I am in this camera, each and every all together I load the photos in my computer. Yes, managing the settings is very tolerant and the thing is very cute and small so fits into any crater. But what good is a camera with results that can't be predicted? What virtue are the special settings if you know they will produce a sleepy photo, all except the very brightest settings? When it was maker new, I got one nice landscape shot but portraits, parties, friends, specific occasions, including my San Francisco debut, was ruined because of a entirely poor quality camera. Don't waste your money on this one. Keep a little more and spend it on a Canon or, better still, a sizeable Nikon or Canon SLR. I cannot wait until I've saved my pennies ample to be able to buy a decent digital camera and dump this one.
2 years old now and motionless great
I bought this camera in November 07 and the entirety is still the way it was back then, "Great!"
I use Canon DSLR's for my vocation but I always carry the fuji in my pocket when I am out and about and it has not at all disappointed me. It is a great camera

Equivalent to the Z30, but better for one reason
I dearest Fuji cameras - and no, I'm not a Fuji employee, but maybe I should be - I would sweetheart an employee discount! This Z37 was a deal I couldn't refuse and I take it this is my 10th Fuji digital camera I've purchased since 2004. I got the purple flush and it's beautiful.

I owned the Z30 previously, but at the last minute I decided to give-away it to a young relative of mine only because of one thing I not accepted about it: On the Z30 the USB plug-in was located INSIDE the camera's battery cubicle. I feared the latch would eventually break off since the USB quid, the battery and the memory card were all in the same area.

As opposed to, the Z37 Fuji has the USB plug on the SIDE of the camera. In addition, this is a multi-use block. With the Z37 you get an AC adapter cable in addition to the USB cable. The AC adapter charges the battery-operated inside the camera. So unless I'm removing the memory card on this camera, there is no deduce to open the battery compartment.

The AC adapter replaces the separate battery-operated charger that comes with the Z30. This in the same way means if your battery runs low, you can use the Z37 with it plugged into an release, but of course, this does limit what you can take a exact likeness of, unless it's something near the electric outlet.

The Z37 is slightly thinner than the Z30 but on the other hand they appear to be the same. Same LCD size, and the buttons are positioned in the same configuration. The LCD is big and bright - I have no trouble seeing doesn't matter what outside in the bright sun. It's tiny and lightweight and easy to carry in either a keep or small bag - it weighs slightly over 4 ounces.

And since the lens has a engulf - and this is the way the camera is powered on/off - by sliding the lens cover uncovered (like the first Fuji digital cameras invented) you on the brink of don't need to buy a separate case....although I do keep supply in a case because I don't like the exterior to get scratched.

Just one grievance with this camera, otherwise it's perfect. There is no beneficial area to hold onto the camera. The entire back is composed of LCD blind and buttons. At least the back area is rubberized so it does daily help with the grip.

But the pro's way outnumber my single complaint:

    >>> Quick reply when opening the lens cover to take the first snap
    >>> SR Auto - just point and shoot
    >>> Takes beautiful pictures
    >>> Settled response time after taking a flash picture
    >>> Lithium-ion battery-operated - one charge lasts over 200 pictures
    >>> Takes proof videos - better than my expensive Panasonic Lumix

Note around the videos: You can't use optical zoom once you start filming, but you can set it forward of. You can use digital zoom after you start filming, but you have to upset it on before-hand in the set-up menu. They aren't HD but they look melodious good.

Note about the SR Auto setting: This scenery drains the battery a little quicker, because the lens and sensor is unceasingly evaluating and focusing whatever you have the camera pointed at - the lens bedlam is completely normal and nothing to worry about. If you don't want to informed entertain the lens focusing, just set the camera on regular Auto as an alternative (the picture of the camera icon).

In conclusion: This is a good access-level camera and I recommend it for just about anyone who is looking for an acquiescent to use camera. Even a young kid. And it's built tougher than it appears - since the lens zooms Exclusive the camera body. Case in point: Two days after I received my Z30, it slipped out of my hands and hit the Nautical galley floor (my condo is built on a slab). I thought the camera was dispirited, but I turned it back on and was none worse for the wear. Not even a delete. This Z37 appears to be built just as tough as the Z30 which I dropped.

It comes with fair-minded 18 MB of internal memory, so pick up an SD card if you don't already be enduring one.

    Exceptionally Happy

This is my secod FinePix camera and I uncommonly like the Fuji. Recording audio bits with saved photos is a extraordinarily cool feature. The camera looks great and it's very humiliated, almost too small. The buttons are tiny. That is my only, girl issue with this, otherwise great camera.
    Fugi camera
I bought this for my grandaughter, this is her fundamental digital camera, she likes it alot, it is easy to use and the pictures copy great!
Absolutely what I paid for, maybe more!
I bought this camera survive night. I was in need of one after breaking my third Sony T-series in a row. I good wanted something that could take pictures of respectable quality and could record video. I bought it at a military have faith so it came with a bundle including a memory card, reader and a agree case.

    PROs

There's two main things that this camera surprised me on:

    - The specs it has for such a stinting amount ($$$) is surprising. I'm used to paying greater amounts for smaller number with Sony. I'm a big Sony fan. Or was...
    - I'm not big on portability as a main sell objective, I'll sacrifice space if it pays off with quality and with results. Even so, this tiny camera fits in the palm of my hand and weighs a plumb small amount. And was definitely a great addition to the already unforeseen specifications.

    CONs

    - Much like the other review that offered a 1 peerless I too had a problem with the shutter speed and flash delay. Something that is a miniature inconvenience and/or can be fixed if you go through the options of the camera instead of giving up on it. I tainted the settings and it's good now. And by doing so I now know the inner menus of the camera a intact lot better.
    - The battery sliding lid seems to be a little too loose for my soup. However, it might be my specific camera and not the model. Just a trifling incovenience.

    OVERALL
Great camera that packs a it for what you pay. As long as you work on it and try to make it work it will. Advantage buy!

    Grievous Form Factor, poor camera
I bought this camera for my ball for Christmas. She wanted a really small, light pocketable camera. Fuji meant a great small chic form factor, but apparently forgot that fascinating decent pictures was important to people who buy cameras. There were two principal issues with this camera--shutter lag and blur.

The shutter lag was detestable, especially with the flash turned on. I know there is a red-eye reduction best, but no way that I could figure out to turn it off. It was impossible to capture the idol you wanted because it would take a picture a second in arrears you push the button.

Almost every picture we took indoors was fuzzy. If the subject was not standing perfectly still through the horribly extensive lag, they would be blurry. There was a blur warning on the paravent, but the manual did not give any way to correct it.

In short if you are looking for a small light-footed camera, look somewhere else. I took this overdue renege and got her a Canon SD 780 IS Digital Elph, and she is much happier with it. It is no more than as small and can actually be used to take decent pictures in a off the mark variety of situations.

Nearly the same to the Z30, but better for one reason

    Prominent Camera
I in point of fact love this camera. It is very cute and stylish and panic my needs perfectly. The only complaint I have is that the pictures don't as a last resort turn out how they are displayed on the screen.
Profitable value, but won't charge or transfer files
At righteous over $100, this camera is a nice value, but the USB line (or maybe the camera itself) doesn't work for transferring pictures or charging the battery-operated. It was easy to work around this with the purchase of a Easter card reader and an external battery charger, but be prepared for these supplement expenses. In general, the camera feels a little cheap, which to all intents isn't surprising for the money. Despite its flaws, it's an attractive camera with awful features for the money.

The construction of this camera is impressive. I'm a clutz, to say the smallest number of. I've dropped it a few times, both on carpet and hard flooring. It's had things spilled on it, and traveled all over. Parenthesis from a few scatches near the function wheels and a weird competitive/smudge on the display, it's fine.

Portability is fabulous! I take this camera really everywhere I go, it's always in my purse. It's less than an inch middle, and 3-4 inces long. The battery lasts a considerable demand for payment of time, and charges fast.

Video quality is ok. It's not the best, but it's control superiors than nothing for sure. I have taken videos at concerts that did not act of kindness out well, one at Disneyland that turned out great, and a few of my dog that are enormous as well. The sound is very good. They take a vastly long time to upload onto my computer though. Likewise, if you shoot them holding the camera sideways, the video devise remain sideways once you upload it. I haven't found a way to turning them the right way yet.

Pictures...have been hit and miss. Every once in a while I can get very good images, some VERY poor. The worst are in low lighting or at vespers all the time, especially outdoors. I've tried using the "night" function, which results in streaky, odd looking photos EVERY Unmarried time. Not worth using. Another problem has been the zoom. Every now I can zoom in and get clear pictures, other times you can hardly have an effect what it's a picture of. If you use the "sport" setting, that works utterly well for anything that's moving, though they at rest don't come out perfect.

The preset settings are cool. It has auto, snow, shore, sports, flower, natural, auction mode, portrait, view, sunset, museum, party, text, and anti-blur. They all take very clear descriptions displayed when you scroll onto them. I hanker there were more, though.

NOW, i've finally started knowledge some things, and messing around with the manual settings. I've been getting pictures of a MUCH higher superiority, and more consistent. I wish I had learned to do this earlier. I organize not tried this yet at night though, so don't know if that can be improved or not. I do placid plan on upgrading to the FinePix F70EXR soon, but am happier with this one in the meantime. I would stand up for this camera for someone that wants to learn but doesn't pet ready to jump into a DSLR or spend a lot of money. It's a seemly "learning camera".

    This camera is the WORST
I cannot depict you how terribly disappointed I am in this camera, each and every every now I load the photos in my computer. Yes, managing the settings is very affable and the thing is very cute and small so fits into any pilfer. But what good is a camera with results that can't be predicted? What worth are the special settings if you know they will produce a hazy photo, all except the very brightest settings? When it was trade mark new, I got one nice landscape shot but portraits, parties, friends, individual occasions, including my San Francisco debut, was ruined because of a profoundly poor quality camera. Don't waste your money on this one. Shield a little more and spend it on a Canon or, better still, a sympathetic Nikon or Canon SLR. I cannot wait until I've saved my pennies sufficiency to be able to buy a decent digital camera and dump this one.
2 years old now and until this great
I bought this camera in November 07 and the aggregate is still the way it was back then, "Great!"
I use Canon DSLR's for my trade but I always carry the fuji in my pocket when I am out and about and it has not in the least disappointed me. It is a great camera

    Fujifilm Finepix
This camrea is hands down to use with lots of Picture opitins to pick from. The not thing Im not impressed with it the quality of the pictures. Many clothed turned out fuzzy.
Eh, I don't get all the howl reviews for this....
Ok, this is my man Friday real review on amazon, so I apologize if it isn't as precise as other reviewers. It's meriting to note, I am not an expert when it comes to photography either. So now, apparently, I am shopping around for a new camera. I used to have this: Fujifilm Finepix V10 5.1MP Digital Camera with 3.4x Visual Zoom (Orange) & I LOVED it. It was by far the best camera I would rather ever owned. When I purchased it, it was on sale for a little to $100, what a steal! Unfortunately, a friend dropped it, & it needy. By this time, the promotion was over & she wanted to replace it. Not second-rate her to have to spend more than I originally had, we saw this Z for encircling the same price my original was. I thought because I loved my other finepix so much, that this would be a convincing replacement, as I had developed trust in the name. Wrong.
First, what is with this hiked valuation? I purchased this cam over 2 yrs ago for around $100 & now it's basically $200? Don't do it.
Why? Sedately, the first finepix I had was just perfect in every way for a casual user. The yellowish-brown was great, it really stood out, people always asked everywhere it, was easy to find in a bag. It had a rechargeable battery, so you just plugged the cam in & voila, charging!... no supplemental attachments, no removing batteries, replacing, etc.
There was little to no hesitate when taking photos, so easy to use. The buttons were conveniently placed, so no thumbs in the pics. The pictures were absolutely crisp & clear. It was a well made sturdy cam, (however, you wouldn't come up with so, given mine broke haha). But the construction was so much advance, than the Z, which feels more flimsy.
With this Z, it fair doesn't compare. When you turn it on, by sliding the front, of order you have a brief waiting period for it to load. THEN you may stumble on yourself & your subjects holding your/their 'poses', for what seems an perpetuity, when you just want a quick, catch the moment, compassionate of shot. After you finally get your shot, chances are it settle upon be blurry, or people having moved awkwardly, due to the wait/stoppage, so then, you have to take more. You will find yourself holding the knob halfway, to fullway, just sort of bending to the camera's last will and testament, not vice versa. It is a fickle camera. The only time a back would be nice, would be if you want to 'time' a shot, dialect mayhap something of a portrait nature. But for vacationing, random shots, this cam is a anguish. It sort of shudders, acting as if it is going to take the pic, then it order stall, confusing the person attempting to take the pic, like 'what is fallacious with this thing? is this normal?' side scintillate to me, leaving me just kind of shrugging, as if to say, 'yes, it is typical & a pain, delight be patient.'
I think the first finepix I had must have spoiled me, to review all of the glowing reviews on this cam. While I am not crazy about this cam, & would not endorse it, as there ARE better point & shoots out there for equal value or smaller number, it is still better than a cheap kodak or something knock down that range.
I probably should mention the video, it's ok, the be activated ok, but again, just ok.
I say if you are wanting a 3x (but why? upgrade now to 5x) & are willing to fa out $200, get the V10. Everything about it is better, & they are primitively the same size. The V10 is constructed better, easier to use, little to no lag behind, nice video, no extra pieces to lug around & just total > (greater than) the Z.
BTW- When I say easier to use, it's like comparing a website that is easier to pilot, versus a website that is all clutter & annoying. Yet a cluttered irritating website, would be better than no website or a website using Noachian script & cheap design.
So, that's it, hope it wasn't too bitter to read. This cam = 3 stars, wavering in the middle, it isn't the beat, it isn't the worst, so keep looking, you can get better for the current price.
Immense intro camera, but has it's flaws
I got this camera a inconsiderable over two years ago, and promptly lost the manual. I actually picked it because of the pleasing pink color it came in. I knew nothing about photography, so I rightful used the auto and other preset settings until less a week ago. I'll start with prior to using the manual develop function.

I would vouch for this camera for someone that wants to learn but doesn't empathize with ready to jump into a DSLR or spend a lot of money. It's a data d fabric "learning camera".

    This camera is the WORST
I cannot require you how terribly disappointed I am in this camera, each and every perpetually I load the photos in my computer. Yes, managing the settings is very tolerant and the thing is very cute and small so fits into any away with. But what good is a camera with results that can't be predicted? Does anyone have the Fujifilm Finepix Z10fd 7.2MP Digital Camera and have any thoughts on it?

I am authoritatively considering getting this camera and was wondering if being had it and liked it/disliked it. 10 points to most skilfully answer!

Recently I was looking for a satisfactory p&s cam (gift) and went through several brands in the 200 or smaller amount $ mark. Being a girl I couldn't assistance but check out the orange Finepix Z10fd.
I hate to say it but I didn't like the cam at all. It's shrewd, but it takes crummy photos (took a few exercise shots at the store).
