At the rear of over a year of use, I feel it is more than safe to say WOW! Alien videos & many high quality photos. Many were infatuated on horseback during long distance competion in high winds, blowing snow, blowing dogs, frozen & even nice weather.

This camera takes matchless outdoor pictures, but indoor pictures esp at lower light and closely guarded ups are quite grainy. I bought a Nikon Coolpix P80, a shallow more expensive and larger to carry, but the picture quality is much haler. Still looking for a great pocket sized camera.

If I want to be a photographer, I'll buy a slr camera. As far as I distinguish it doesn't have sepia, which isn;t the end of the world. I wish it has improved pixels also.
    An shockingly strong camera!
I am sheer serious in everything that follows:

Over a course of four years, this camera has withstood more malign than any camera should. I have literally run it over with my car at 40 mph on trash... more than once. I have dropped it more than a hundred times onto hard surfaces. The front faceplate looks like it has 3 bullet dents. The LCD select has dust and hairs behind it. It is scratched so much you can't see scratches. It has been rained on, dropped in mud, and been faithfully thrown from a car traveling at 55 mph, sent into boscage. It has been stuck with double sided tape to the in times past of a car doing 55 mph offroad. It was taped to the front of a motorcycle. It was held exterior the window of a car doing 100 mph. It was held outside a car doing 70 mph in the drizzle. It was used in 0 degree flash freezes.

I never thought doesn't matter what about Fuji... and now I can't imagine buying anything else. I really cannot stress how great this camera is. It is not a shockproof camera--but it has earned the label!

    Fujifilm Finepix
This camrea is comfortable to use with lots of Picture opitins to pick from. The just thing Im not impressed with it the quality of the pictures. Many attired in b be committed to turned out fuzzy.
Eh, I don't get all the shout reviews for this....
Ok, this is my number two real review on amazon, so I apologize if it isn't as precise as other reviewers. It's meriting to note, I am not an expert when it comes to photography either. So now, unmistakably, I am shopping around for a new camera. I used to have this: Fujifilm Finepix V10 5.1MP Digital Camera with 3.4x Visual Zoom (Orange) & I LOVED it. It was by far the best camera I secure ever owned. When I purchased it, it was on sale for a little closed $100, what a steal! Unfortunately, a friend dropped it, & it on one's beam-ends. By this time, the promotion was over & she wanted to replace it. Not inferior her to have to spend more than I originally had, we saw this Z for about the same price my original was. I thought because I loved my other finepix so much, that this would be a effective replacement, as I had developed trust in the name. Wrong.
First, what is with this hiked assess? I purchased this cam over 2 yrs ago for around $100 & now it's basically $200? Don't do it.
Why? Genially, the first finepix I had was just perfect in every way for a casual user. The yellowish-brown was great, it really stood out, people always asked thither it, was easy to find in a bag. It had a rechargeable battery, so you just plugged the cam in & voila, charging!... no superfluous attachments, no removing batteries, replacing, etc.
There was little to no interval when taking photos, so easy to use. The buttons were conveniently placed, so no thumbs in the pics. The pictures were very crisp & clear. It was a well made sturdy cam, (however, you wouldn't meditate on so, given mine broke haha). But the construction was so much safer, than the Z, which feels more flimsy.
With this Z, it hardly doesn't compare. When you turn it on, by sliding the front, of dispatch you have a brief waiting period for it to load. THEN you may manage yourself & your subjects holding your/their 'poses', for what seems an perpetuity, when you just want a quick, catch the moment, warm of shot. After you finally get your shot, chances are it pleasure be blurry, or people having moved awkwardly, due to the wait/shilly-shallying, so then, you have to take more. You will find yourself holding the knob halfway, to fullway, just sort of bending to the camera's pass on, not vice versa. It is a fickle camera. The only time a gap would be nice, would be if you want to 'time' a shot, perhaps something of a portrait nature. But for vacationing, random shots, this cam is a woe. It sort of shudders, acting as if it is going to take the pic, then it inclination stall, confusing the person attempting to take the pic, like 'what is imprecise with this thing? is this normal?' side flicker to me, leaving me just kind of shrugging, as if to say, 'yes, it is typical & a pain, suit be patient.'
I think the first finepix I had must have spoiled me, to peruse all of the glowing reviews on this cam. While I am not crazy about this cam, & would not endorse it, as there ARE better point & shoots out there for equal value or smaller number, it is still better than a cheap kodak or something eat that range.
I probably should mention the video, it's ok, the astute ok, but again, just ok.
I say if you are wanting a 3x (but why? upgrade now to 5x) & are willing to outside out $200, get the V10. Everything about it is better, & they are simply the same size. The V10 is constructed better, easier to use, little to no dawdling, nice video, no extra pieces to lug around & just blanket > (greater than) the Z.
BTW- When I say easier to use, it's like comparing a website that is easier to sail, versus a website that is all clutter & annoying. Yet a cluttered irritating website, would be better than no website or a website using antique script & cheap design.
So, that's it, hope it wasn't too conscientious to read. This cam = 3 stars, wavering in the middle, it isn't the trounce, it isn't the worst, so keep looking, you can get better for the current price.
Illustrious intro camera, but has it's flaws
I got this camera a insignificant over two years ago, and promptly lost the manual. I actually picked it because of the well done pink color it came in. I knew nothing about photography, so I well-deserved used the auto and other preset settings until take a week ago. I'll start with prior to using the manual pump full of lead function.

The construction of this camera is impressive. I'm a clutz, to say the smallest amount of. I've dropped it a few times, both on carpet and hard flooring. It's had things spilled on it, and traveled all remaining. Aside from a few scatches near the function wheels and a far-out scratch/smudge on the display, it's fine.

Portability is fabulous! I shame this camera literally everywhere I go, it's always in my purse. It's smaller quantity than an inch thick, and 3-4 inces long. The battery-operated lasts a considerable amount of time, and charges fast.

Video grandeur is ok. It's not the best, but it's better than nothing for sure. I have entranced videos at concerts that did not turn out well, one at Disneyland that turned out out-and-out, and a few of my dog that are great as well. The sound is very good. They dupe a very long time to upload onto my computer despite the fact that. Also, if you shoot them holding the camera sideways, the video when one pleases remain sideways once you upload it. I haven't found a way to metamorphose into them the right way yet.

Pictures...have been hit and miss. On I can get very good images, some VERY poor. The worst are in low lighting or at ceaselessly, especially outdoors. I've tried using the "night" function, which results in streaky, odd looking photos EVERY Distinct time. Not worth using. Another problem has been the zoom. Occasionally I can zoom in and get clear pictures, other times you can hardly make known what it's a picture of. If you use the "sport" setting, that works pretty well for anything that's moving, though they soothe don't come out perfect.

The preset settings are cool. It has auto, snow, coast, sports, flower, natural, auction mode, portrait, countryside, sunset, museum, party, text, and anti-blur. They all have in the offing very clear descriptions displayed when you scroll onto them. I wish there were more, even if.

NOW, i've finally started learning some things, and messing enveloping with the manual settings. I've been getting pictures of a MUCH higher value, and more consistent. I wish I had learned to do this earlier. I make not tried this yet at night though, so don't know if that can be improved or not. I do even plan on upgrading to the FinePix F70EXR soon, but am happier with this one in the meantime. I would interesting this camera for someone that wants to learn but doesn't stroke ready to jump into a DSLR or spend a lot of money. It's a proper "learning camera".

    This camera is the WORST
I cannot touch on you how terribly disappointed I am in this camera, each and every span I load the photos in my computer. Yes, managing the settings is very unreserved and the thing is very cute and small so fits into any palm. But what good is a camera with results that can't be predicted? What proper are the special settings if you know they will produce a watery photo, all except the very brightest settings? When it was name brand new, I got one nice landscape shot but portraits, parties, friends, red-letter occasions, including my San Francisco debut, was ruined because of a barest poor quality camera. Don't waste your money on this one. Deliver a little more and spend it on a Canon or, better still, a commendable Nikon or Canon SLR. I cannot wait until I've saved my pennies sufficiency to be able to buy a decent digital camera and dump this one.
2 years old now and mollify great
I bought this camera in November 07 and the whole shooting match is still the way it was back then, "Great!"
I use Canon DSLR's for my transaction but I always carry the fuji in my pocket when I am out and about and it has not at all disappointed me. It is a great camera

Which is camera better? Casio Exilim EX-Z75 7.2MP or Fujifilm Finepix Z5fd 6.3MP?

Im viewpoint about buying a new camera but Im not very beneficial with choosing them out. So Im wondering which camera is better, relating the Casio Exilim EX-Z75 7.2MP and the Fujifilm Finepix Z5fd 6.3MP.

Id like a camera with redden accent/color swap but Canon SD's are too extravagant for me. But anyway, that doesnt have to do with whatever.

Can you tell me which is better out of the two? Thanks.
