Don't waste your in clover! We bought this camera for our 7-year-old conclusive year for Christmas. We wanted to find a camera that was not too extravagant so it wouldn't be a big tragedy if it got broken. The flash stopped working hither three months after we had it. When we finally got around to sending it in, they determined the flash and sent it back and now it won't take videos. When you arc it to video mode and push the shutter button, it takes a model. The picture quality is bad, too. The pictures aren't as good as my first digital camera, which was a Canon 3 megapixel or my gal Friday, which was a Fuji 5 megapixel. I don't understand why they can't take that older technology and settle amicably a really good inexpensive camera for kids! Most populace don't need 8 megapixels (or more) anyway, and what good is a bigger incarnation if it looks like crap? The Fisher-Price kids cameras with the big rubber protection take such bad pictures that they are not even advantage buying, in my opion. How is that fun for kids? They want to be skilful to take pictures like mom does. This camera was a true disappointment.
Comfortable to use
Bought this for my Mom who knows nothing yon anything digital. So easy to use and takes very nice pictures. It's a small bulky but for an easy point and shoot it's great.
A devoted little camera for children and adults
I was assumed this camera a year ago and have had it in my purse ever since so I won't mistake a special moment. It is a great camera for those who don't want to commotion with lens settings etc. It does all the work for you and has many options that are all built in and are calm to use. I bought one for a 76 year old friend and my niece bought one for her seven year old daughter. We are all enjoying terrific pictures with slight effort. This camera does not take good round-the-clock pictures of lights [like Christmas] but fulfills all my other wishes year round. Two things I would suggest purchasing are Lithium batteries as Alkaline are not yearn lasting in the camera,[copper tops don't work well at all], and a larger SD take action. The lithium batteries I put in last year are still going intense and I purchased a card for a few dollars on line which holds 300 pictures. There are extras included with the camera that proceed towards it even more enjoyable. Look around the internet and you can get it for around $80.00 new. A later model is now out, but I found that this was the ameliorate of the two for me.
Kodak C813 Camera
Well-grounded got back from a trip to California and back to Florida, took 800+ photos. All turned out exceptionally commodities. This camera took about 300 photos (no one w/flash) just on the rechargeable battery pack (about $9 or $10) and I had two AA cells in a proves as back up. It took photos inside very dark Spanish cathedrals because of the adept 1250 ISO rating. I took lots of photos from the car window while emotional and they turned out very clear and any street signs were sheer readable. I simply connect the camera to the computer with the USB string and the camera shows up as another drive, so then I just emulate/paste photos from the camera to the computer. Also I can use the included Kodak software for turn over but I prefer the simpler copy/paste. The camera has no problem showing up as different drive (much like a flash drive added to the processor USB port). If you copy/paste photos they are all numbered serially to cure keep them in order for viewing if you should add them to a viewing program. The single minor problem is that in a very bright outdoors environs it is somewhat difficult to view the area to be included in the photo, but surely not impossible, not a problem for me but maybe for others. This is a very undemanding to use camera; when I wanted someone to take a photo for me I hardly asked they push and hold the button for a second or two and no one had any stew taking a good photo. The simplicity of photo taking is a honest advantage as I could pull the camera from my pocket and snatch at b attack a photo in seconds, then review it to see if I needed to take option photo; if so, I snapped the next photo within 5 or 10 seconds. I enjoy the recharging/printing dock also which is really profitable; keeps the rechargeable battery always fully charged and camera subject to to go anytime. Photos printed from the dock look virtuous like from any photo shop w/excellent color.
too valuable on amazon
i got this camera for smaller number than $100 in my local target store. why is amazon jacking up the outlay?
