Slops... pure rubbish!
My old lady and I wanted to replace our aged Sony 3.2 MP camera. We were at the back something with good features, nice picture distinction, and a large lcd for viewing and picture-taking. This camera did induce all that and, at the time, got pretty decent reviews. We purchased ours and were truly pleased with it initially. Then it began to go from bad to worse:
1. My missus complained the pictures were blurry initially. I didn't possess this problem, but believe it was due to a relatively long delay relating pressing the button and taking the picture. An annoyance and not a concern if you use a steady give up.
2. If you are taking pictures indoors they'll be ok... just ok. But, the low light picture quality is not very good at all.
3. The final straw is very common if you search the web: The camera won't turn on and won't charge. You try to turn the camera on and it drive open the lens then beep and turn off. Attaching the camera to the stallion (USB cable to a power cube or computer), the charging light comes on but stays devoted green indicating a full charge. After several minutes, it goes off. That's it. There are assorted complaints about this and Kodak's only suggestion is you send it to them for checking: at the cost of $88 plus shipping.
So, we're now out close to $200 and away to using our trusty Sony. It's a shame since the camera did press a nice display (as we wanted) and (I thought) the USB charging would be a acutely handy feature.
Do Not Buy!
I received this camera as donation last Christmas and within a year and a couple of uses it on one's beam-ends. Every time I tried to turn the camera on, after a few seconds it valid shuts off. The battery is fully charged and it still does not calling. I do not recommend buying this camera at all.
It is Waste
I hardly ever used it. Within one month it froze. Kodak sends it united camera for renewal via warranty. I barely touched it in 12 months. Just on two vacations. Now it is doing the for all that thing and Kodak says too bad. Pay for the warranty. Don't buy it. I will not buy Kodak again
Strict little cheap point and shoot
I give birth to had this camera for a couple weeks and used it for a Dodger Amphitheatre trip last night- Manny Ramirez Bobblehead Vespers all the time!
The construction of the camera seems a bit cheap, but so far the quality of the pictures has been melodious good. I wasn't expecting a whole lot for under $100 but it takes critical crisp photos.
I used the video feature last eventide when Manny hit a grand slam and they uploaded rightful fine to my computer.
