Taking pictures inside school gym come out yellow - help!?

I bought a Kodak EasyShare Z650 6.1MP Digital Camera to retain b challenge pictures at my son's games at school. When he was fa playing football the pictures were outlandish. Now that he's inside playing basketball in the gym the pictures arrange a yellow tint on my computer when I use the fulguration. When I turn off the flash there's no red eye reduction so when I smile the pictures on my computer the kids look dominated with glowing eyes. I know there's got to be a way to bilk pictures in a gym from across the room. Qualities know the secret?

I'd love to get a class on how to get the most from my digital camera but so far no accident. I've just been playing approximately with the camera and have gotten some fabulous shots of my children. Thanks for your guidance, I appreciate it :)

Tony was correct on the white balance but he didn't grasp your Kodak Z650 does not offer instructions white balance setting. You basically stuck with the camera's preset options. You already distinguish how's the color comes out using Sedan white balance. Next time, try to make a note 6 pictures with the remaining 3 setting and see which one comes out the greatest. Both with flash and without beam.

Here is some tips for you using your camera up the river the gym.

1. Use flash only when your son is posing in face of the camera. The flash will not be effective if the prone to is more than 12 ft away.

2. For manner shoot, use a tripod or monopod.

3. Use the sport configuration for action shoot.

4. Set the ISO to 400. That purpose increase the sensor sensitivity so the shutter streak will be faster to reduces picture watery due to moving object.
