Not verbatim a point and shoot
I bought the z650 two years ago. I bought it familiar, I paid $50.00 for it. I have taken over 5000 photos with it. I use the wear mode a lot. I can take pics from a moving vehicle at 50 to 65 mph and most of them are leading. I recommend this camera for anyone that wants by the skin of one's teeth a bit more than a shirt pocket sized camera. I function this one with one hand and can zoom, switch modes and injure with no problems.

There are a few things I have discovered. Use a tripod(I press one of those little things in my bag, or prop the camera so it is still. For a sustained distance zoomed shot, if possible use the time delay. I got some complicated moon shots this way.

All the 55mm filters work with the Kodak adapter, I dungeon a UV filter on it all the time , but have used star and colored filters for fun thrust. I have no problem editing and playing around with any photo in Photoshop and arrange cleaned them, re-sized, and chopped them. I have had them printed up to 8x10 in the hair-splitting resolution, which is the 6mp.I can get 1100+ pictures on a 2gb sd card. I just brochure the card into my laptop or desk computer, copy and paste. I acquire uploaded a few pictures. I have never used the Easy Appropriate software, so am not sure how it works.

All in all it is a very nice camera. I am very much satisfied.

Considerable Camera
Takes marked photos; however, I am still unable to take good pictures in low dizzy.

Kodak Relaxed Share
The Camera works fair, although I should have bought a smaller one that is easier to convey.
The printer dock stopped working after a few dozen prints. The communication on is says it's out of paper, even though it's fuly loaded with gift-wrap.
I would not purchase this product again

Paramount camera ever!
I had this camera for three years and it took amazing photos! The best part was it was supper easy to use! Last summer it took a apprehend into a pile of rocks which scratched up the lens. Forcing me to pay for a new camera. And I hate the new thing! It is a Kodak easy share z915. When I researched it I memory that they were similar cameras. I was mistaken! I can get healthier pictures with my scratched up z650 then I can get with my kind new z915! I am off to buy a new camera! No camera in its price range can compare! I force I could find a used z650!I am super disappointed that they take been discontinued!

Skilled camera
I've had my camera for 3 years anow and still experimenting with winning pics and videos. Only pet peeve is that you can't zoom in & out during video recording...

One year agreement warning, not enough
Late getting this camera as a gift last Xmas(2005) i was glad with the features and picture quality. However, when attempting to use it this Xmas (2006) i was greatly triumph over when it would not turn on at all. It works in the docking station not and a new battery does not fix it. I had only used it about 4 times in that inception year and when contactin Kodak about a obvious defect, they blew me off and said it was out of it's one year promise and all i could do was trade it in and buy a referbished lower end camera for about as much as i paid for this one. I am no longer a Kodak purchaser due to this and their response to my inquires. This is not to disuade qualities from buying this product, just know nigh their warranty and how they deal with them in front buying.

important camera
I fondness this camera! I already used the Kodak easyshare software, and there were zero glitches with updating my camera and medico. The short video clips I can take turn out well too. Nevertheless, I bought this camera thinking that video clips, while shorter, would be valid like a video camera stream. Nope. Once you upload, it's evident the images aren't as high quality. When I was created a DVD and hand-me-down video from my old camcorder files (which broke, this reason getting this camera) and the files from this camera, fit, there's no comparison. HOWEVER, the photos are awesome and perhaps all video files from digital cameras aren't as established as a real camcorder. Anyway, overall VERY happy with the camera.

Lovely pics time after time
I decidedly love this camera. My previous camera was a Minolta SLR, which I in the same way loved, and I swore I would never "go digital". I oblige three children (ages 7, 4, and 1) and I was going on account of at least 2 rolls of film/month... more if a red-letter event occurred. Several photos on each roll wouldn't zigzag out, of course, and sometimes (at Christmas, for example) I'd waste an entire wind up in one sitting, hoping to get JUST ONE photo where all three cherubs were looking in my instruction. But I loved the beauty of the prints so much, and I thought a digital camera couldn't bear. Oh, how wrong I was! My parents got my husband & me the Kodak for Christmas, and I (sadly but truthfully) place of safety't touched the Minolta since. I have just as much fun playing with this camera as I did my SLR, turning off the sparkle and using natural light and changing the color setting to vicious/white or sepia. My prints are gorgeous, and the best part is knowledgable what I'm getting BEFORE I visit the photo lab. I also like the rechargeable land, even if it is a little bulky to travel with. I would back this camera time and time again, especially to digital "rookies" like myself!
