It can likewise shoot movies at up to 640x480 VGA mode. A built-in Perception-Stabilizer steadies the image for sharpness that might be impaired by orthodox hand movements. What long-range zoom camera should I get?

I destitution something that's a step up from a customary point and shoot but below a DSLR since I am even learning and can't afford a DSLR truth now. So I started looking into a bunch of 12x visual zoom cameras and it is somewhat what I am looking for.

    Choices so far:
    Sony Cyber-slug DSC-H5/B (7.2MP)

    Canon PowerShot S3 IS (6MP)

    Panasonic DMC-FZ7K (6MP)

    Kodak Easyshare P712 (7.1MP)

I see fit use it for everything... still shots, spirit shots, scenery, close ups, etc.

I read a criticize that said the Sony one does obviously in low-light settings. But, there's a 3-subordinate wait for the flash to charge up again.

Any helper and/or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Out of the 4 models you introduce, my nod goes to the Canon S3. If you click on my profile, there are links for DPReview and Steve's Digicams, two of the choicest review sites out there.
But here's a few things to note:
    * None of those models are great for low dainty photography. The only point & shoot cameras that do that unquestionably are made by Fuji - and Fuji doesn't get a good mega-zoom model.
    * All cameras advocate d occupy a few seconds to recharge the flash. Even alien flashes take a few seconds, unless you contribute several hundred dollars in (semi) pro trice guns with extra battery packs.
    * The plain benefit of a mega-zoom camera is principled that... the extra zoom fluctuate. Despite the extra price, they are not more reactive than 3x zoom cameras (for action shots). As with low gay photography, for that you really do need a dSLR.
So rather than you buy, consider saving a bit more for something like a Nikon D50 / Canon 400D.
