Elevated "low-end" camera
The camera is exceptionally easy to use, and does a great job with either pictures or video. When we original "went digital", this was the camera we chose, and were thrilled with it (5 MP was the "pattern" then). When that camera was accidentally dropped on the lens and on one's beam-ends, I looked at the "new" offerings (more megapixels, more features), but sure nothing could beat our good old reliable Coolpix 5600 for the valuation, so bought another one just like our original on Amazon.com. We quiescent love it!

zero stars... Not good it!
IF your in collusion is steady and your subjects are willing to stay still for the series of flashes that go off ahead the final flash that takes the pictures, you do get a decent perfect. However, if you are interested in taking spontaneous shots versus posed, this is NOT the camera for you. The camera shuts off for less 10 seconds in between taking shots.

Nikon COOLPIX 5600 Digital Camera
This work replaced an identical one that someone had stolen from me. Ergo, I mainly wanted to make sure it operated as it should. It did not disenchant.

However, I have to mention that the shipper put a sharp cornered box into a strapping padded envelope that fell apart before it at home. The shipper should have taken the camera out of the box or enclosed it in unorthodox box with peanuts.

unbiased really bad pictures
At the rear my last Nikon, which I really liked, had some problems with the zoom lens slot, I set out to find another camera. I really don't like change, so I looked for marginal Nikon with which I could use my rechargeable ion batteries and SD card. I chose the Nikon 5200. Bad selection. Maybe I just got a lemon? Not sure, but what I do know is that this camera takes the worst pictures. Matter-of-factly impossible to get a clear, focused picture inside, and when I do get a idea that is technically focused, it just isn't very sharp. I recently took it on a seaside vacation and got all my pictures back with an aura around the pallid things in the pictures (hair bow, sunhat, etc.). Let's see... bad lining, bad outside. Verdict? Just bad.

Eh, it's okay...
I've had this camera for a trifling over 2 and a half years. It has lots of features, and I have bewitched some decent pictures with it, but I have also been quite frustrated trying to get a nice clean picture. (It is every time blurry, or slightly out of focus)

For a little while now, the door to the freestyle has been half broken. Now it is completely broken and won't stay shush. Not by my doing, the plastic that would hold it closed wore fine hair and broke off. It isn't a very good design for longevity.

I just recently got myself a Kodak Casual Share. I love it. Great pictures EVERY TIME!! Sooo much easier to use. So I gave this camera to my allay...haha...sucker! :)

In conclusion, it is a decent camera. It has seen me finished with some times. But for the price, you can get a much better camera for much smaller quantity. I would have to say that I was disappointed with this camera in the sustained run, and I am very happy with the one I have now.
