    which digital camera?

i'm looking for a digital camera, Hither a $200-$300 price range. (Australian dollars)
i've got it narrowed fine hair to (in order of preference):
    1) the Olympus Stylus 1000 (or 1200)
    2) the Pentax Optio S10 (or S20)
    3) the Fujifilm Finepix f20fd

now i recall that the Olympus stylus 1200/1000 isn't exaclty within the $200-$300 standard, but i figured that it's worth it, since it sounds a lot best than the other two, also the Stylus is water and snow standard, so when i eventually go to Canada i can take it, and equally take pics in the rain, i like pictures in the flood. also it's shock/crush hold up so if i drop it it isnt a big deal, and it will unquestionably last for a long long time.

i'm looking for a camera close to 10-12mp. 9 at the very least. and i would much tender it if it had a video mode. waterproof would be well-proportioned too.

which one do you think is better for me, or maybe one that isn't one of the three that i timetabled?? (maybe answers from population who have owned 1 of those cameras?
equally i would prefer if it ran on its own battery, instead of AAs or AAAs. so that i don't acquire to keep replacing them.

i don't exactly want a camera for holiday photos or whatever, I'm assessment of starting professional photography. not for a profession, equitable for a bit of fun. thats why i would like it to be a pretty (or bare) high resolution, without any noise. i would get one of those 20mp cameras, but i don't get the money for it.
I'm not so worried about zoom (visual zoom ect.), because most of the shots i'll be doing order be wide landscape shots.
