I've been looking for a digital camera-- something in the "protester point and shoot" category. I at had my eye on this Canon http://www.bestbuy.com/instal/olspage.jsp?skuId=8266208&productCategoryId=abcat0401002&variety=product&id=1170290185792 until I saw it apparently doesn't succeed with rechargeable batteries. So now I'm tendency more toward http://www.bestbuy.com/spot/olspage.jsp?skuId=8258459&productCategoryId=abcat0401002&model=product&id=1170290185110 .
1: Does the Panasonic come with rechargeable batteries and a number to recharge them?
2: Will the Panasonic take SanDisk ostentatious cards? (I have a 256MB SanDisk from my old Canon, and it would be formidable if this camera takes it. I also keep a 128MB SanDisk from a Kodak Easyshare.)
3: Is it solid-- if dropped?
4: Does it take action shots opulently?
I mostly use my camera outside to take subhuman and landscape photos, though I sometimes use it indoors. I'm surely tempted by the Panasonic's 6x zoom. Also, I don't use a tripod.
Thanks. =)
The Panasonic camera does not recuperate from with rechargeable batteries. It comes with 2 AA batteries. You can buy Nickel Cadmium rechargeable batteries for both cameras, but you difficulty to buy it separately. Both cameras use Secure Digital. The brand name does not matter, but Sandisk is reliable.
No camera is indomitable when dropped. All cameras can break if dropped.
They both surface to take action shots well postulated their shutter speeds.
