I carry this as a overdue-up when I am shooting professionally. I have sold numerous shots from this camera including ones blown up to 20x24.

The Pantax Optio A10 is so in vogue, it is hard to find and the prices are often as high used as new.

Capacious Camera For Low Price
Had this in spite of exact camera stolen while in Hawaii. Purchased a replacement, since I liked it so probably, for less than I'd paid to repair my original camera 2 years quicker. Great quality pictures and easy menus for the everyday photog.

Glaring camera
This is a adroit little camera, it takes amazing pictures and pretty authentic video as well, which is in DivX format!! Perfect measure, nice large screen, good zoom!! Plenty of features!! I would for all recommend this camera for someone not looking to spend a ton of dough on a digital camera!

Takes too big to flash
I bought this camera ultimate year for personal and business tasks. It does take crinkly photos but it take way too long to flash and the subjects have to get up b endure still long. I would not recommend it for sporting events or indoors or round-the-clock shots.

It's in the final analysis about taking pictures.
In my younger duration, I was a professional photographer. Of course there are cameras for taking peerless pictures. Want to hoist around a tripod, perhaps a notion camera, an umbrella, interchangeable lenses, lights? Hey, what happened to the scene or the people or the big game? Changed, or disappeared, or wouldn't behave, or interruption still, or game over. And driving in my car, wait, there's a without delay-in-a-lifetime chance to get that special shot, maybe inform against it to a newspaper. So I carry it around in my shirt pocket, hit the "green" handle which defaults to standard automatic mode, and click the snapshot. Did you get it too? Oh, you didn't have your camera handy at the time? Or it was engrossed in your bag and anyway, the lens sticks out? This won't happen with the Optio Z10. And the conceive of quality far exceeds what you can get on a cell phone. And instead of a look at-finder, I can show a picture to family and friends, and strangers, instantly on the big flourish screen. Then they can approve the likeness (or order you to blot out it - that gains trust!). And it records sound for 24 hours ceaseless if you want. And makes legal quality prints with dates. Check the vade-mecum (essential information), it does incredible things, but you need a bit of photo consciousness to read the settings. Practice automatic ability to make swift manual adjustments, and you can fix things to get rid of the problems others found. Now I won't go out without it, like those solvency cards and house and car keys and cellphone. It's called "portability", the most noteworthy attribute for a point-and-shoot, in my book.

Got up new for under $100
I bought the z10 to convey in my purse. I like its convenience but am not thrilled with the picture blue blood. Outside shots aren't too bad but inside shots tend to be grainy. I bought storehouse here on Amazon for less than $100 so the $300+ fee tag I am seeing right now is absurd.

Salubrious camera
I'm entirely happy with Pentax products. I had an A10, and I was really happy with it. But I shattered the LCD screen so I just bought another camera. This Z10 was it. It's diminished, easy to use and good picture quality for my personal purposes. I'd award it 5 stars, but the plastic casing is not as nice as my old A10, but the sliding hide to power on is pretty cool.

Fitting price, low quality pictures
Fantastic outdoors picture quality, poor indoors use. Pictures infatuated with flash indoors turn out grainy or distorted.
Commitment poor.
I just bought the new CANON POWER SHOT SX200IS.
Leading GREAT GREAT
You just can't mess up the pictures. Wonderful pacify of use.

Excluding little workhorse
I purchased this camera to supplant 5mp camera. The huge screen makes lining up those shoots a simple job, pictures have all turned out very nice (though red-eye seems a youthful bit more common than I am used too), and I absolutely LOVE the video recording. Assured the video is not put on your TV quality, but for those times when you don't take a full camcorder around and just happen to have this in the car or old lady's purse, the video is perfect. Since I live away from domestic, I am able to upload these smaller videos for family fail home and allow them to see allot of our lives that they would young woman.
A great camera, especially for the very low price.

disillusioned
My pictures comes out unlighted when i am taping a dance video in a club.. when i put sedan flash the pictures comes out as if there were ghosts all for everyone and it comes out yellow. i have to put flash oen when i am in a dark pinpoint and sometime it comes out dark yellow.. everytime i take pictures the sieve goes black then if the people move after the shaft it comes out blurry..it is nothing like what i heard it whim be.. money wasted.

Misleading round an accessory
I like to use an ac power rope when doing work where the camera is connected to the processor, to save on battery life. This is also suggested in the instruction instructions. But though the specs say this camera comes with an ac line, that cord doesn't connect to the camera; it's part of the freestyle charger. To buy the right ac cord, you must go to another vendor, and put out different $35-40. Also, I haven't found any photo stitch gift the ability to align several landscape photos and then stitch them together) with this camera. I do like the unoriginal size.

Keen camera
This camera is daunting. It is so small and portable. I take it everywhere. The picture qaulity is remarkable considering it's size. The only downfall would be the quaility of pictures at evensong or indoors under light.

Hapless picture quality
The specifications sounded inordinate but the picture quality didn't live up to it. It's very easy to use and offer around, but colors look washed out the always a bit blurry. I expected more from a 8MP camera.

Daughter loves it
Bought this for my 11 year old daughter and she loves it. Uses the elementary point and shoot to keep things simple. Just allow to pass sure you dont misplace the charger. You can't acess the memory with out the freestyle power and there's no way to charge it up without a charger or optional AC power. Pics are edible and it's easy to use.

Dissapointed
This camera is incredibly simple to use, It does have smile shutter, though it doesn't trade too well.

What I most dislike about this camera is that the twilight pictures are terrible!, really terrible!. Can't do them at all.

Indoors are to a certain better but really bad in the outside.

I wouldn't recommend this camera.
