I would like to buy a 10MP compact digital camera - which is the best?

I regularly food photos, hence the desire to have a 10MP camera. I force been overwhelmed by the number that maintain come on the market in the last few months and would like some serve and advice on which to buy.
None of the main digital camera magasines be struck by done 10MP comparision tests yet and I have not set up any comparisons on the web.
From my research the Sony DSC-N2 seems profitable, as does the Pentax Optio A20. I would love some view though please!
