Godlike Point and Shoot if you get for the right price
I shopped this everywhere and got it for around $80 with a 2gb SD card. At that price, this camera is a fair deal. I wanted a shirt pocket-sized camera for scene and posed shots with friends, and that's what this is. Some of my shots came out totally terrifically, fit for printing.

I would not recommend it even for a toss-in-the-bucks camera if, for instance, you want to get shots of your kids on the playground. Profuse of my pictures with a bright sky background came out with striations. In the same way, the shutter lag is noticeably longer than even my five-year-old primary Canon PowerShot (great camera, but not pocket-sized). If you're shooting spry subjects outdoors, you'll miss more shots than the $40-$60 value difference (again, assuming an $80 price for this one) you all things considered need to get a pocket-sized Canon.

Evening or low light pictures from problems consistent with all point and shoot cameras.

Menu functions were as effortlessly and intuitive as Canon's.

I'll try to post a sample of the best and worst this camera did on a frisk to Seattle.
    Buy this camera
I got this camera with a bloody good deal, including a 2GB SD card. You will love this camera, it is altogether nice looking, takes really good photos, and interfaces with windows vista (which I use) verbatim. It seems to be last year's model, not that you can tell the imbalance. Even the instruction book is for once easy to read.

I did a lot of investigate before buying, and each camera has very mixed reviews..one upon will say that a camera eats batteries, the next yourselves says they get great battery life..so you don't know what to get. Nevertheless with picture quality, etc. etc. etc. Finally I settled on this one and I am indeed glad I did. It was good enough to get me to actually do a review!

Shop all, the prices are variable to some extent. I paid 69.99 delivered and with the SD be honest and couldn't be happier with this.
    Smashing compact camera!
I purchased this camera to enjoy in my purse when I am out and about. It isn't logical for me to lug around my big Sony, so I wanted a camera with amicable to use features that was not going to feel like a piece of jettison.

I have a 35mm Pentax camera that I absolutely love, so I decided on the Optio M30. This camera feels unbroken, despite it's tiny size. the LCD screen on the back is very apparent and easy to see. The menus are logical, easy to set up, and picture quality is top-hole.

I don't mind having to take the battery out to charge it. I have to trick my batteries out of my Sony to recharge as well. As far as battery life, I sire been taking photos for several days, and the battery pacify doesn't need to be charged.

The only thing I would say that is a downside on the camera is the shutter shilly-shallying. It takes a while holding the button before you actually get a pic, but I didn't upon lightening fast capture in a camera of this price.

All in all, a worthy little camera. I will put it to the real test this weekend in Vegas.

    Valid awesome!
Hysterical story... My daughter had this camera summer 2007, I got habituated to to using it (stills, video, audio tags, etc) I just had to get one for myself! At the back of taking the time to learn all the functions I use it all the time. Compact satisfactorily to put in my pocket, durable enough to handle sitting on it if it was my back cluster! Took it to Rio Brazil and it did awesome!! Negative comments on using it in low swift or dark... they were just not doing it rectify or not patient with the operation. I took night shots of Rio from The Sugarloaf that were lovely.
Transferring pictures is easy, use the supplied cable or remove the SD in the offing and use your card reader (if you have one!)
Get this camera, get an SD possible (2GB or more) and enjoy! You will not be disapointed in your purchase and now the prize is even lower!!
