i am thoughtful of getting a digital cam. but cant chooose. 1 is the pentax optio s10 that is 10mp's and 3x visual zoom and it records DivX movie clips at 640x480. and the favour is the SONY CYBERSHOT DSC w55 or the w90. the w55 records mpg clips, it is a 7.2mp cam and it has 3x visual zoom and the w90 is a 8.1mp cam with mpg movie clips and 3x visual zoom as well.
i am interested to get a cam that takes clips that r not frizzy or pixely and that takes nice crunchy pics.
so what is your opinio:
1) Pentax optio s10
2) Sony cybershot dsc w55
or
3)Sony cybershot dsc w90
plz bee identified with i dont want to screw up and waste my paper money for something i am not going to like because i live out in greece and here you CANT get your moneyed back (refund).
THZX TO ALL THAT Answer :)
Both are not dope cheap cameras, you can get a fair deal at approximatley in any case price on other better ones. Indeed then, if you have decided on these two:-
If you like to toy with with camera settings pentax is for you. But beware, it is not that userfriendly. Pentax, apparantly allowing they are making cameras for common alcohol, they don't make their cameras very operator friendly. but Definitly images are better than Sony. use ISO home of 64, and see the difference (in good light offcourse). Note, it has image stabilisation in moview mode also.
Manner, If you talk about sony, mind blowing features.. they seems to put in the aggregate in this tiny camera. lots of features. If you don't comprehend about camera settins, manual blurry/ISO/shutter speed etc, just select from classification of presets and you will get a good picture.
For pictures clips. Don't rely on anyone, they are jsut for infrequent clips, but pentex would be better with stabilisation.
Still, as you have chosen this camera, may I pretend to, that you are not an advance photographer and want this camera legitimate for fun photography. I would suggest go for SONY. You devise hate "not so user friendlyness" of pentax.
In the vanguard making a final choice, check owner reviews of both on net.
things to look for:-
- Shutter lag (should be as smaller quantity as possible)
- Exposure and contrast (Pics shouldn't be closed or under exposed and contrast should be reliable)
- Image stabilisation (A must, camera would be worthless in most cases without it, physical/visual is better than digital stabilisation)
- drug friendly menu and easy to reach power buttons (Believe me, you will hate if its not upto the yardstick. Imagine you friends are waiting you to click and you are in any event fondling with the settings)
-Does it prepare Image stabilisation in Moview mode? What is the longest Clip in the long run b for a long time 1 min or till memory lasts.
Check for these things, and you purposefulness find a really good camera for all your expectations.
One more innuendo:- Check in Kodak . they got some secure camera for your need.
