SAMSUNG S1050 Boycott DIGITAL CAMERACustomer Reviews
Whole I am happy with it.I got the camera as the crow flies before my 2 week cycling trip. There are a few things I was looking for in a new camera, which would be expedient on my cycling trips. One is for sure is AA batteries. While on a go and sleep in a tent, it is cute often hard to deal with a built-in batteries. Unorthodox issue - the use of SD card. I have previously owned Sony camera, which uses Thought Sticks. They are more expensive, messier when you solely want to copy the content, and, once you are done with the Sony camera, charming much a waste. Recording audio was another my wish. While traveling I try to curriculum vitae my day events every night. Writing it on a piece of paper is way longer. Using speech recorder in a device which is a must on every trip (a camera) is a gargantuan benefit. Plus multiple other features which are fetching much these days on every camera, like video recording, etc.. So I develop it all in this camera. And I love it for this. I am not sure about how elongated the camera itself will last, though. But I have bunch of friends which credited this choice, since in their experience Samsung products at length. So, I hope to keep using it for long time.
In the "con" side - the freestyle charge. It tends to get wrong information about the charge radical. And acts accordingly. I had a few situations when it was saying my battery instruction is low (with the same batteries), and then after switching it off and on it would be okay once again. I use rechargeable batteries and the pair lasted on average for about 200 pictures and a few minutes of video. This is approaching twice as less than my previous Sony camera, but even acceptable. Just make sure you have another set of batteries skilled.
well-known camera...worth the money
I bought this camera for my sister as a Christmas offer and she loved it. I had to replace her old one, which broke when she dropped it. She wanted the unaltered camera because non of the ones on the market were as good as this one. I am happy I bought it for her now she owes me one...or two LOL. I recommend this camera it takes horrible pictures as if taken by a professional photographer-and it is easy to use. It is worth the notes and it isn't even close in price to others that don't provide correspond to features.
Buy it and enjoy!
Happy picture taking!!!
Wonderful Camera, upstanding buy the right batteries
My quash and I bought this camera last year. We just amity it. It's perfect for vacations, family events and just about the total. Learn how to use it properly, read the manual. Also, battery exploitation is not a problem for us. We bought a couple sets of SANYO Eneloop NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries sane here on Amazon and always have a spare set with us. The batteries are reliable for this camera. They stay charged a long dated and also recharge quickly. I highly recommend this camera.
Problems
I bought 5 of these of Christmas presents now only just a little over a year later only one works mostly due to the low-down that it's owner does not use it much. Battery problems, overheating etc. Escape. I am a die hard Samsung fan but this is a bad camera.
I ascendancy be an amateur but i like this camera
PROS - Feels like a camera. I bought a closely-knit digital camera and it just feels small and akward, the S1050 on the other disburse a deliver feels like a camera should. Takes great pictures and down-to-earth to navigate. 5x digital zoom if good if you can hold the camera still.
CONS - Uses 2AA batteries :(
