PowerShot SD770 or Cybershot DSCW150? Help!?

I've been debating linking the two brands for quite some time, and (I expect) I have finally narrowed it down to 2.
    They are:
Canon PowerShot SD770 IS 10MP Digital Camera with 3x Visual Image Stabilized Zoom
    and:
Sony Cybershot DSCW150/B 8.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Visual Zoom with Super Steady Rule the roost

...also, is the second (Cybershot) really an improvement from the DSCW120?

ANY input or recommendation would be much appreciated! I have on no occasion purchased a canon point-and-shoot, and was wondering how they the same class with to sony.

Sony, and in this is why:

I have had both cameras. Bought the SD770 to begin with, and became throughly disappointed with it. I picked it b.c. of enthusiastic reviews but they did not live up to the actual camera. It is a conscience-stricken camera to have for the sole reason that the red eye role is useless. All my night photos/not well lit areas/clubs/bars (you monicker it-- if it wasn't sunny it was no good) consisted of red eyed population. Literally everyone. Ended up buying the DSW150 b.c. my upper crust friend had a sony and her awesome red eye reduction caught my eye. The lustrous look of the powershot is what made me from the word go buy it but honestly realized looks are not worth it if the pics don't advance out well. SO, you will not be disappointed with the cybershot powerfully recommend it-- got it from b and h -- they had the most qualified price at the time-- they also had the excepting gold color found only online not in stores. It's a beautiful camera and the pic quality is amazing-- it seems much more dependable, and feels like it is made more than the cannon. Trust me I could go on but this is already elongated enough! SONY!
